Green Process Development….Microwave Technology In MT, reactions can typically be carried out in water or sometimes with no solvent.

Successfully development of microwave technology for Leveteracetam, Trospium Chloride, Olanzapine, and Galanthamine reactions was complete in 15 min against the existing 6 hrs .

Ultrasound Technology: UT for chemical reactions/ Crystallizations at small scales or pilot plant level. (batch

size 2.5 kg to 6 kg)

The basic advantage is significant reduction in reaction time, higher yield and lesser impurity formations.

Pantoprazole : Reaction Time is reduced from 6 hr to 30 min.

Famotidine : Reaction Time is reduced from 22 hrs to 60 min.

Rabeprazol : Crystallization Time is reduced from 10 hr to 45 min.

Naproxen : Achieved PSD d100< 100 microns
