Ujjain - Madhya Pradesh Centre de l’Inde. Ville sacrée traditionnelle.

Ujjain est une des 4 principales villes sacrées de l’Inde. C’est un des lieux d’ascèse des Hatha Yogis depuis des siècles. La tombe de Matsyendra Nath s’y trouve. C’est aussi la cité de l’ancienne culture des Surya Bhakti avec un magnifique espace construit autour du temple à Surya. Elle est aussi un des hauts lieux du shivaïsme avec ses lignées très traditionnelles regroupées autour de l’un des 12 jyoti lingam que l’on compte à travers le pays. Enfin, elle un grand lieux de l’astrologie indienne et de l’astronomie, située sur le passage même du méridien.

Notre objectif est de servir le Yoga et de permettre à chacun d’étudier dans une ambiance propice à l’intériorité, avec affection et conscience.

Le Centre PRANA BINDU YOGA RETREAT se situe à l’intérieur de Siddha Ashram et tout y a été conçu pour accueillir des enseignants de Yoga occidentaux.

Ujjain – Madhya Pradesh Center of India. A traditional sacred city

Ujjain is one of the 4 holiest cities in India. It is a place for ascetics from Hatha Yoga lineages since time immemorial. Matysendra Nath was buried there. It is also the place where the Suyra Bhakti tradition spread from, with a magnificent compound built around a famous Surya temple. Ujjain is also a famous place for Shaivaite traditions with very traditional lineages of yogis gather together around one of the 12 jyoti lingam that can be found in the whole country. At last, it is a famous place for astronomy and astrology, situated on the Ujjain meridian.

Our aim is to serve Yoga and give everyone the possibility to study in a helping atmosphere to go deeper in the understanding of human soul, with affection and consciousness.

PRANA BINDU YOGA RETREAT is within the Siddha Ashram and everything has been done to welcome western yoga teachers and their students.
