Pravachan Player 5.48 Set Up & User Guide:
Introduction:
Pravachan Player is a custom made software which is used for playing Pu. Sadgurudevshree
Kanjiswami’s Lectures (Pravachan) on computer (PC). Refer website for more details about Pravachan
Player software (http://www.vitragvani.com/pravachan-player/default.aspx). Currently, it is available
in two versions.
1. Pravachan Player 5.48 Beta - This version displays word to word text while listening to the
Pu. Gurudevshree’s Pravachan. It is currently under development and published for testing
only. Yogsaar shastra is selected for testing. Sadharmis are requested to use it and share the
feedback using our contact us webpage.
2. Pravachan Player 4.06 – This is legacy version available in Jin Mandir and PCs. This version
displays photos while listening to Pu. Gurudevshree’s Pravachans. (Does not display word-
to-word text file). Refer Pravachan Player 4.06 installation guide

Pravachan Player 5.48 Beta currently only plays Yogsaar shastra. Use Pravachan Player 4.06 for all the
shastras. Currently, Pravachan Player 5.48 Beta is only available for Windows 7 and Windows 10.
Pravachan Player 4.06 is available for Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7.
This document guides user through setting up and use of Pravachan Player 5.48.
Pravachan Player 5.48 Set Up:
1. Open http://www.vitragvani.com/pravachan-player/default.aspx in a web brower (e.g.
Chrome, Internet Explorer or Mozilla). Following screen will be displayed.
2. Read the entire page content. Now, refer to Pravachan Player 5.48 Beta section.
3. Download following files on the PC.
a. Pravachan Player (select based on PC’s operating system)
b. Yogsaar Audio file (one file for the entire shastra)
c. Yogsaar text file (select from Gujarati and Hindi based on your preference – one file
for the entire shastra)
You can also get Pravachan Player software on Pen-drive (or any other electronic storage
device) from "Shree Kundkund Kahan Parmarthik Trust" office at address mentioned at
the end of the user guide. Please ensure to bring appropriate electronic storage device
with at least 2GB storage space.
4. The files will be downloaded in the Default location of the PC.
5. Copy all the files in a separate folder in appropriate drive. You may name it as 'Pu.
Gurudevshree Pravachan' or any other suitable name. However, note that it is mandatory
for all the downloaded files to be stored in one folder for appropriate operation.
6. Now, Double click on Pravachan Player icon and allow the software to start up.
7. It will take 1 minute to link up all the files. If any error message pops up then press ‘Continue’
button on the error message.
8. The software will automatically create an icon similar to above on the desktop. Kindly make
sure that system allows software to create an icon on the desktop and no firewall is protecting
desktop. User can then launch the software using the desktop icon directly.
9. The following Pravachan Player screen will be displayed (Refer Appendix 1 for Basic Operation
details).
10. Now, you may start Yogsaar pravachan by selecting appropriate number. When play button is
pressed; the software will link the audio and the text file to give an output. This output will
allow the users to view/read word to word text while listening to the Pu. Gurudevshree's
pravachan. This comes with self-guided underline that marks the exact text that Pu.
Gurudevshree is speaking.
11. Note that the software takes some time to link audio and text files. Also, it will display images
for one minute and then start playing word to word transcript.
12. All are requested to take maximum benefit of this Beta version of Pravachan Player and share

Appendix 1
Basic Operations of Pravachan Player 5.48 Beta Version:
Section 1: To start with Pravachan Player Program…
1. Double click on Pravachan Player icon on the desktop and allow the software to start up.
2. When you start the Pravachan Player Program the following screen is displayed.
Section 2: Now, let us focus on different component of the software Component 1: Pu. Gurudevshree’s Image
Component 2:
Samaysaar Stuti:
When you press ‘Samaysaar Stuti’ button, it will start to play Samaysaar Stuti.
Mangalacharam:
When you press ‘Mangalacharan’ button, it will start to play Pu. Gurudevshree’s
Mangalacharan.
Component 3: is self-explanatory
Component 4:
Space – Play Button:
You can play new Pravachan or resume a paused Pravachan by pressing the button ‘Space –
Play’ or by pressing the ‘Space bar’ on the keyboard.
P – Pause Button:
When you press ‘P – Pause’ button or press ‘P’ on the keyboard, it will pause the Pravachan.
T – Stop Button:
When you press ‘T – Stop’ button or press ‘T’ on the keyboard, it will stop the Pravachan.
R – Rewind 30 Seconds Button:
When you press ‘R – Rewind 30 Seconds’ or press ‘R’ on the keyboard, it will rewind the
current Pravachan by 30 Seconds. If it is the start of the Pravachan or current position is less
than 30 Seconds then this function will not work.
F – Forward 30 Seconds Button:
When you press ‘F – Forward 30 Seconds’ or press ‘F’ on the keyboard, it will forward the
current Pravachan by 30 Seconds. If it is the end of the Pravachan or remaining Pravachan is
less than 30 Seconds then this function will not work.
A – Forward 5 Minutes Button:
When you press ‘A – Forward 5 Minutes’ or press ‘A’ on the keyboard, it will forward the
current Pravachan by 5 Minutes. If it is the end of the Pravachan or remaining Pravachan is
less than 5 Minutes then this function will not work.
B – Rewind 5 Minutes Button:
When you press ‘B – Rewind 5 Minutes’ or press ‘B’ on the keyboard, it will Rewind the current
Pravachan by 5 Minutes. If it is the start of the Pravachan or current position is less than 5
Minutes then this function will not work.
For playing Pravachans for 30 minutes you may use the following two options:
H – Play First Half:
When you press ‘H – Play First Half’ button or press ‘H’ on the keyboard, It will play Pravachan
from the beginning and stop automatically on the completion of 30 Minutes.
J – Play Second Half:
When you press ‘J – Play Second Half’ button or press ‘J’ on the keyboard, It will play
Pravachan from second half onwards upto the end.
N – Next Pravachan Button:
When you press the button ‘N – Next Pravachan’ or press ‘N’ on the Keyboard it will jump to
next Pravachan number. This button is useful for playing next Pravachan of previously played
Pravachan. For example, if you have listen Pravachan no. 25 on previous day then by pressing
Next Pravachan button, It will move to Pravachan no. 26. It is very useful for daily listeners.
Current Position (00.00/00.00):
It will display the “Time elapsed Minute” / “Total Minute” of the Pravachan in
“Minutes:Seconds”.
X – Exit & Shutdown Button:
When you press the button ‘X – Exit & Shutdown’ or press ‘X’ on the Keyboard it will close
the Pravachan Player program & shutdown your computer.
Q – Quit Program Button:
When you press the button ‘Q – Quit Program’ or press ‘Q’ on the Keyboard it will close the
Pravachan Player program and return to windows.
V – Volume Control:
When this Button is pressed, it will display a Volume Control screen (Right Table in the
following image). One can adjust Volume, Speaker Balance, Bass & Treble using this volume
control.
Press ‘Open Windows Volume Mixer’ for further volume control. A new windows volume
control window will pop up as shown by Left table in above image.
By using the Volume Control Slider you can increase and decrease the volume. It is
recommended to keep the ‘Speakers’ and ‘System Sounds’ to highest.
L – Pravachan List:
Click on ‘L – Pravachan List’ Button or Press ‘L’ on keyboard to see the list of all Pravachan
files, it will shows the following screen.
Select the Shashtra from the list of Shashtra that you would like to see.
You can see name of all the Pravachan files with their Pravachan No, Gatha No, Shlok No, Date
& Day of the Pravachan.
To see only Hindi Pravachan list kindly click on “Display only Hindi Pravachans”.
If you want to Play the Pravachan from the list then click on the Pravachan name & then click
on “Play” button on the top of the Table.
Jump To Minute:
It is used for the start of the Pravachan at a particular Minute. You can write Minute inside that
edit box & press Enter.
Show setup Options:
It will display Pravachan Player setup option as shown in the image below.
Press Show setup options button second time to Hide all the setup options.
Pravachan time Morning / Evening:
When you enter time in Pravachan time Morning (Format 24 Hrs - HH:MM) then it will
automatically play Pravachan at that time. You have to just select the Pravachan from the above
list. It will automatically start and play at fixed time.
Display Photos:
When you check on ‘Display Photos’, it will display different photos of Param Pujya
Sadgurudevshree Kanjiswami during the Pravachan.
Auto Play:
When you click on ‘Auto Play’, It will automatically start the Pravachan at a particular time on all
set days (for Mandir / Swadhyay Hall only )
Following are the steps to setup auto play.
1. Enter “From Date” and “To Date” at top for the period you want to plan for playing
Pravachan (Default period is one month from today’s date).
2. Select whether you want to plan for morning Pravachan (Before 12.00 noon) and/or
afternoon Pravachan (after 12.00 noon)
3. Time format in Autoplay is 24 Hrs Format i. e. (HH:MM)
4. Enter time in “TIME_MOR” (morning play time) column of first day of your planned dates.
5. Click Shashtra Field and Select Shashtra from the popup menu.
6. Enter Pravachan Number in Pravachan no column and press Enter key.
7. In Remarks column you will see Gujarati or Hindi language of the selected Pravachan and
whether Pravachan is present on the Harddisk or not.
8. For automatic entry of next day – First set the first day entry – Play time, shashtra name,
Pravachan No & then click on Pravachan no field then press Down Arrow. You can see the
next Pravachan entry will come automatically.
9. Reset Button is provided for deleting all the entries.
Auto Play Stuti:
When you check this button, software will automatically play Samaysar Stuti with the auto play
before starting of the Pravachan. For Example, if your auto play Pravachan is going to start at 8.00
am then stuti will start around 7.52 am & finish before starting of the Pravachan.
Set Language:
Set language option to English, Gujarati or Hindi. Which will change the button caption to
appropriate language.
Mute:
Click Mute to turn off sound. Bass & Treble:
You can adjust Bass & Treble of Pravachan voice. This option will work only with the sound card
which supports Bass & Treble.
