Other activities

Yoga classes have been started in the college from International Yoga Day. These classes

continue throughout the year.

Campus interviews are regularly organized in college. This year 566 students were placed through

various campus interviews.

Remedial and Bridge courses are organized.

Competitive exam guidance centre was started.

Poor and needy students are provided guidance to avail educational loans.

Lectures are organized in the virtual classroom. Employees from other institutes, people from the

village are benefitted through them.

Actions taken to maintain discipline and order:

The information brochure given during admission process contains necessary directions regarding

maintenance of discipline

A Discipline committee is constituted to monitor and maintain the discipline in the campus

The members of the committee take rounds in the college and supervise the students periodically

Anti-ragging committee is constituted

Students have to give a „Declaration‟ promising their non-participation in ragging practices.

The college campus is under CCTV surveillance

Activities for Qualitative Development of Teachers

A ten day Faculty Development Programme was jointly organized with the help of Seed Infotech,

Pune from 18 April 16 to 26 April 2016.

Teachers are encouraged to participate in the courses like: Orientation, Refresher, Short term,

Seminar, Conference, and Workshop etc.

Economic aid is provided to teachers for publication of quality research papers in reputed research

journals

Teachers are encouraged to avail Teacher Fellowships provided by UGC under the Faculty

Improvement Programme, for the purpose of research.
