Prayer garden: We are accepting donations for the Prayer Garden at St. Ann’s Parish (next to Rectory). Please let Fr. Sughroue
know if you are interested in donating for one of the Lilac bushes for $40 or you may contact the parish office. You may also put a marked envelope in collection basket but be sure to indicate who memorial is for.
PART-TIME OPENING: Part-time position is available as an Administrative Assistant at St. Michael’s Parish, Hastings. This position will be 15-20 hours per week, beginning immediately.
Applicant must be computer literate with the ability to do internet data
entry.
Applicant must be literate with Microsoft Word, Excel and Publisher.
Familiarity with QuickBooks or other bookkeeping software is a plus.
The applicant must be able to multi-task and be a self-starter.
Position becoming full time in the future.

Let the games begin! The Theology on Tap
core group is organizing a team to participate
in this summer’s Grand Island Games, July 27
and July 28. If you are a young adult, or clergy
or religious sister of any age, you are invited to
join our team! The Grand Island Games are an Olympic style
experience that offers you a chance to meet new people, build
community and unity and have fun doing it! This year’s events include:
Sand Volleyball, Texas hold’em, billiards, bowling, coed basketball, tug
of war, golf, scavenger hunt, aqua-track, disc golf, obstacle course, rifle
rimfire event, darts, putt putt, table tennis, Pictionary, cup stacking,
chess, capture the flag, free throw contest and more! Participate in one

God asks each of us to do some special work for Him. He gives
us the resources we need to do His work. However, do we
listen to God when He calls? Do we get up on our feet and use
our talent to do the work He asks of us? Remember, God
doesn’t call the equipped, he equips the called.

Day of Equipping: This training seminar, presented by Bart Schuchts, will be held July 20-21 at Pius X High School in Lincoln, NE. During this training you will learn the foundations of abiding in Christ, hearing His voice, and becoming empowered to pray for others as Jesus did. TOTUS TUUS (Totally Yours), a summer
catechetical youth program, is being held July 23 -
27, 2018, at Sacred Heart Kenesaw, Monday- Friday
9:00 am - 3:00 pm. The day includes catechetical
instruction, daily Mass, songs, games and recess. For
junior and senior high school youth, the program runs
July 22 - 26, 2018, Sunday-Thursday 8:00- 10:00 pm.
TOTUS TUUS combines catechesis and having
FUN!!! The youthfulness and energy of the team is
contagious, come out and join us!!! All are invited to
a potluck dinner on Wednesday, July 25 at 5:30 pm.

Cost is a free will donation. Participants in the grade
school program should bring a sack lunch and recess
equipment. Volunteers are needed to help provide
snack and bring meals for the team. Volunteer sign-
