LIBERIA

• Praise God for a successful national conference for university students, called Legacy; several students from the United Methodist University, University of Liberia, Cuttington and Stella Marie Universities have all started small groups across their campuses. Pray that the perpetrators of terror will be checked permanently and for safety of lives and property as people go about their normal lives, especially in the northern part of the country.

• Praise God for the just concluded IBS/ILS and women's meeting in Nigeria. The events made us spend time together at very close range. Pray that these events will result in solid relationships among the staff and a stronger grip of other dynamics for team effectiveness, so that our dream for abiding and multiplying spiritual movements across the country will be realized.

• It is common practice in a part of Nigeria to have adult children build their homes near the patriarch. Such a community of 78 people of the same family was located in the ongoing Kano Project, and a church was planted for them. Pray that the church community will grow in their faith so much that they will be able to stand for the Lord and shine as light in the midst of their unbelieving neighbors. Pray that more people will come to faith in that community.
