Dr. David T. Lamb March 28—April 2

David T. Lamb is the Allan A. MacRae Professor of Old Testament and Dean of the Faculty at Biblical Theological Seminary in Philadelphia. Quite the scholar, he holds the D.Phil from Oxford University. While on staff of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania. Dave has served as a Ruling Elder at the Woodland Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia. Dave is a highly gifted communicator and author of popularly received God Behaving Badly: Is the God of the Old Testament Angry, Sexist and Racist? Dave’s most recent book is Prostitutes & Polygamists: A Look at Love Old Testament Style.

An adjunct faculty member of Biblical Seminary, Dr. Shannon Lamb has served with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at home and globally, training and challenging college students to explore the claims of

Jesus Christ on their lives. Passionate about honest engagement with and creative application of Scripture, she has taught courses on Reading the Old Testament Missionally, Counseling and the Biblical Text as well as Lifelong Leadership Development. Shannon is married to Dave, and they are proud parents of two twenty-something sons, Nathan and Noah.
