Charlie Perkins will have surgery November 8 at Vanderbilt to repair his cleft palate. The family of Drew Crossett is morning his passing. He grew up at Skyline as his family were former members. Dawn Lee’s parents, Betty and Gaylon Cooper, have been having some health problems. Betty is scheduled for open heart surgery next week. Pat Russell’s dad, Gene Huffstutter, is experiencing health problems. Neal and Katie Maners need prayers. Neal is having health problems. Carol Taylor is in Transitional Care recovering from pneumonia. Prayers for Jennifer and Jonathan Wheeler and their pregnancy. Our Search Committee and Shepherds as they search for a minister.

Announcements Important: Volunteers Needed For Room In The Inn Room In The Inn will resume in the CAC tonight. There are still a few openings left for people (or small groups) to volunteer to provide food and fellowship for Room in the Inn. A particular need for men to spend the night. The sign up is at the Members’ Corner. Room In The Inn is a ministry to shelter homeless men in our city. Twice a month, Area Relief Ministries (ARM) sends approximately 12 - 15 homeless men to Skyline. This is one of the most rewarding ministries at Skyline. For questions, see Pat or David Russell.

Ladies Holiday Party - Today - Last Day To Sign Up If you plan on attending the Ladies Holiday Gift Exchange, you need to sign up today! The signup form is available at the Members’ Corner. Please sign your name, and if bringing a guest write their name also. If you plan on decorating a table, please indicate on the form if you need a round or rectangle table. As a reminder, each lady is asked to bring 5 identical unwrapped gifts to exchange with other ladies.

The menu for this year will be Strawberry Spring Salad, Bacon Wrapped Mozzarella Chicken, Wild Rice, Green Beans, Rolls, Toffee Crunch Cake, Fruit Delight, and drinks. The cost is $12 per person and can be paid in advance or the night of the event. If you pay in advance, please place the money in the black box at the Members’ Corner and use the envelopes provided. Male Helpers for Ladies Gift Exchange! Men, Alison Jones is asking for your help again this year during the Ladies Holiday Gift Exchange on Nov. 9. She needs men to help serve drinks, desserts, and clean up! Please show up at 6 pm to help. A sign up sheet is on the Members’ Corner, along with the Ladies Party sign up.

Events & Announcements New Grandson Welcome Harrison Cooke Hunt! Harrison was born Tuesday, Oct. 31 in Memphis and weighed 6 lbs. 15 oz., and is 20 inches long. His parents are David and Lauren (Chambers) Hunt. Grandparents are Mona and Larry Chambers and aunt is Kristen Chambers.

Skylink Class Began Today If you missed today’s class, you can still participate. This class will be meeting in room #109 for the next two Sunday mornings at 9 am. This class is for those interested in placing membership at Skyline, or for those who just want to learn more about Skyline and how they can be involved. Samaritan’s Purse Shoe Boxes - Drop Off Next Sunday There are still several shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child in the lobby. Please pick up a box, pack it with fun and exciting things for a boy or girl, drop it back off in the church lobby NO Later than November 12th, and include a $9 check to Samaritan’s Purse for postage (instruction sheets and labels are available).
