THE POPE’S MONTHLY INTENTIONS July 2019

Universal Justice

That those who administer justice may work with integrity, and that the injustice which prevails in the world may not have the last word.

Rosary Prayer Intentions for July (provided by Our Legion of Mary)

SPECIAL July Rosary Intentions: that the Supreme Court always make rulings in favor of all that is just; and, rule against all things that are unjust…that legislatures enact laws and policies which protect its citizenry from unjust acts which endanger our people in living with tyranny and a barbaric way of life…that Congress protect the lives of the unborn and newly born which is the inalienable right of all these precious ones under the banner of the right to life – as is the right of all sentient beings…that the citizenry take action by writing to the congressional leaders, any action that may endanger all people to their right to live in a free and just society…that religious leaders speak out passionately to their parishioners to promulgate peace, well-being, freedom and happiness which can only happen in a just society which is void of any injustice…and that Catholic churchgoers pray daily to the Holy Spirit, the Advocate, to imbue in all people a devotion to pray for those beings throughout the world who live under tyrannical and despotic rule.

ON-GOING Personal Rosary Intentions

Joyful Mysteries for the unborn, newly born, young children,

teenagers, families and friendships. Luminous Mysteries for the newly baptized, those receiving

confession and the Holy Eucharist for the first time, newlyweds and those already married – love/peace/unity – now and forever. Sorrowful Mysteries for the sick and suffering, the dying, the

oppressed, the tortured, the persecuted, the lonely, the abandoned and the depressed. Glorious Mysteries for the souls in purgatory, forgotten souls,

newly confirmed and ALL life, the intercession of Mary to Jesus for our daily intentions and the requested intentions of others.

The Parish belongs to all of us, and only through the parish community can we achieve our goals.

As of July 1, 2019, Mary Beth Osiecki will be retiring from Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish. We are sure you join us as the Parish Staff thanks her for her years of service. Please see a personal note from Mary Beth below: Dear Parishioners, It has been my privilege to work with you these past 23 years of employment at Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish. THANK YOU to all of you that made these years so rich and grace-filled. In particular I acknowledge the parents and students who shared their faith journey, catechists of both children and adult programs often leading your students to Sacraments (one of my greatest joys), those that willingly served on committees and in varied ministries, those that helped create the special events we celebrated together, and our Cornerstone Sisters. My life has been enriched by the many dedicated staff members and the compassionate presence of the priests through the years. Though my time as an employee at our parish has come to an end and I will no longer have regular office hours, Joe and I remain parishioners side by side with you. We continue to worship with you and share our time and gifts whenever and wherever we can. Deeply grateful always, Mary Beth Osiecki
