I. GENERAL PROJECT DESCRIPTION The Applicant is seeking approval for a new communication facility on a property situated south of the City of Rifle. This facility will consist of a 120 foot tall self supporting tower with four antenna enclosed in a 60' x 60' leased area enclosed by a chain link fence. The proposed facility will have the ability to accommodate other telecommunication providers and will be accessed from County Road 321 via an existing road.

Please note that a new telecommunication tower has recently been approved by the Board of County Commissioners on parcel number 2175-221-00-140 which is west of the site proposed in this pre­application. The County encourages telecommunication operators to collocate if possible.
