Results of an annual graduate feedback survey

• Annual survey done in cooperation by TEK and all Finnish universities of technology
• In 2014, 1 526 of all the 2 627 graduates answered the survey (58 %)
• Among respondents, 12,7 % were international students (44 EU, 150 non-EU)
• Tools for education development and influecing education politics
• Study covers themes such as:
– Studies and study guidance
– Importance and development of competencies
– Employability
– Over all satisfaction

– Get work experience and contacts, also out side the university campus
– Get a hang of local language and culture

• CareerBoost supports academics with a comprehensive peer group program
• A novel way to resolve the unemploymentchallenges of international academics
• CareerBoost significantly increases your chancesto find a job or to identify another solution, suchas further education or entrepreneurship
Content of the Program
• Each group is made of 7-10 academic participants
• The peer group will meet once a week during 9 weeks - each meeting lasts 3 hours
• There will be a lot of homework – you have to beprepared to work hard
