WHAT IS PPVC

PPVC means a construction method whereby free-standing volumetric modules(complete with finishes for walls, floors and ceilings) are constructed and assembled inan accredited fabrication facility, in accordance with any accredited fabrication method,and then installed in a building under building works.

SELF-BALANCING LIFTING FRAME

A special lifting

frame was

designed, approved

and fabricated

specifically to

ensure safety during

the lifting and

installation of the

heavy modules


• Each wire rope SWL is 5T

• Each pulley SWL 8T




• Daily Inspection by Lifting Supervisor

• Monthly Inspection by Method Manager

• Magnetic Particle Inspection – 6 months

• Steel Wires are replaced by each 7 floor

lifting of module installation.



Balanced Lift – Evenly spread load enables a balanced lifting.

Less manpower – Maximum of 2 riggers are enough to secure all the 12lifting hooks. (In conventional method tedious rigging work involved to balancethe load evenly by using additional chain blocks in all the hooking points).
