A judge requesting the use of a ramp must give notice to the show superintendent/show secretary prior to judging. AKC approval is not required.The entire entry in a breed is to be examined in the same manner (ground, table, or ramp). At the discretion of the judge, the following breeds may be judged on the ground or on a ramp through all levels of competition including Group and Best in Show judging: Clumber Spaniels, English Springer Spaniels, Field Spaniels, Welsh Springer Spaniels, Cirnechi dell'Etna, Irish Terriers, Kerry Blue Terriers, Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Keeshonden, Norwegian Buhunds, Polish Lowland Sheepdogs, and Norrbottenspets (Misc.).At the discretion of the judge, the following breed may be judged on the table or on a ramp through all levels of competition including Group and Best in Show judging: Cardigan Welsh Corgis.At the discretion of the judge through all levels of competition including Group and Best in Show judging, the following breeds may be judged on the ground, a ramp, or on a table: Boykin Spaniels and Whippets.The following breeds must be judged on a ramp through all levels of conformation competition: Sussex Spaniels, Basset Hounds, Bulldogs, Chinese Shar-Pei and Chow Chows. This extends to all conformation competition at AKC conformation dog shows and any AKC event where a conformation title may be earned. This policy includes Group, BIS, Junior Showmanship, the 4–6 Month Beginner Puppy Competition, the AKC National Owner-Handled Series (NOHS), and all other special attractions that offer Group and BIS competitions. Ramps can be used in emergency situation to judge any breed. In an emergency situation, where use of a ramp is not indicated in the premium list, an exhibitor has the option of withdrawing their entry and receiving a refund.For the judging of juniors the ramp may be used at the discretion of the judge for the ramp optional breeds.

Non-Regular Classes Involving Multiple Dog EntriesVIZSLAS, BORZOIS & GREATER SWISS MOuNTAIN DOGS (SuNDAY)

NR2.09100. Stud Dog Class - Will be for Stud Dogs and two of their Get. Stud Dogs must be entered in the Stud Dog Class and must be shown in the ring with their Get. Owner of Stud Dog need not necessarily be owner of the Get. Stud Dog only to be judged based on the merits of the Get. Get must be entered in a Regular Class, Best of Breed (Variety) Competition, or some other Non-Regular Class. While the merits of the Stud Dog are not to be considered in the placement of the entry, the Stud Dog must be examined to determine if it has a condition that would require its disqualification or excusal under the Dog Show Rules, AKC policy, or the standard for its breed. NR2.09200. Brood Bitch Class - Same as the Stud Dog, except substitute Brood Bitch for Stud Dog and Produce for Get.As the judge’s decision in the Stud Dog and Brood Bitch Classes will be based on the merits of more than one dog or bitch, no one of the dogs or bitches making up the entry judged first in the class will be eligible for Best of Breed or Variety by virtue of having won these classes.

VIZSLAS & BORZOIS (SuNDAY)NR2.09300. Brace Class - (two dogs of the same breed or variety and must have at least one common owner and presented by a maximum of two handlers.) - The dogs comprising a Brace MUST be named at time of entry. If a dog which is to be part of a Brace is not entered in any of the Regular Classes or for Best of Breed Competition, it must be entered for “Brace Class Only”. In making entries for “Brace Class Only”, full particulars must be given for each dog on individual regular entry forms. An entry form for a dog entered in a Regular Class or for Best of Breed Competition and entered as a part of a Brace MUST be marked accordingly in the space provided for Additional Classes, “Brace Class”. If more than one Brace is entered by the same owner, the dogs comprising EACH Brace must be so designated, “Brace No. 1”, “Brace No. 2”, etc.

An AKC Recording Fee of $.50 first entry only and an AKC Event Service Fee of $3.00 per entry will be required for each dog entered at any Licensed or Member Club Show, Obedience Trial or Tracking Test. An AKC Recording Fee of $3.50 will be required for each first entry and $3.00 for each additional entry in any Licensed or Member Club Rally Trial. All Recording and Event Service Fees are paid to the American Kennel Club. (There is no Recording Fee or Event Service Fee for Junior Showmanship, Sweepstakes, Futurities, Brace/Team, Multi-Dog Classes or Special Attractions.)

No Entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any conditions as to its acceptance.Entry Fees shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or Judge, or barred from

competition by action of the Event Committee. If because of riots, wars, strikes, civil disturbances, national emergencies, health emergencies, and the dictates of law enforcement or of the owner(s) of the grounds and/or facilities or other acts beyond the control of the management it is impossible to open or to complete the event, no refund of entry fee will be made. Extreme weather conditions, such as, but not limited to snow storms, hurricanes, lightning, extreme heat, heavy rains, or other circumstances including, but not limited to, the condition of the facilities or grounds and/or the ingress and egress from the grounds, must be considered for the health and safety of the dogs, exhibitors and spectators. The well-being of dogs, exhibitors and spectators is of paramount importance and, in the event it is necessary to cancel or stop the event before completion, no refund of entry fee will be made. Post Dated Checks, Returned Checks and Declined Credit Cards do not constitute a valid entry fee. The Superintendent will add a collection fee to the amount of each returned check or declined card. No Refund for Duplicate Entries. Every effort to find all duplicate entries will be made; however, if entry has been processed, no refund will be made. An Administrative Fee of $2.00 will be charged or withheld from refunds for duplicate entries.

INSTRUCTIONS1. (Variety) if you are entering a dog of breed in which there are varieties for show purposes, please designate the particularvariety you are entering, i.e., Cocker Spaniel (solid color black, ASCOB, parti-color), Beagles (not exceeding 13in., over 13 in. but not exceeding 15 in.), Dachshunds (longhaired, smooth, wirehaired), Collies (rough, smooth), BullTerriers (colored, white), Manchester Terriers (standard, toy), Chihuahuas (smooth coat, long coat), English Toy Spaniels(King Charles and Ruby, Blenheim and Prince Charles), Poodles (toy, miniature, standard).

MOTOR HOME/TRAILER RESERVATION NOTICEPARKING SPACES WILL BE AVAILABLE FROM 12:00 NOON WEDNESDAY

Overnight reservations will be available at a fee of $70.00 per space for four nights, Wednesday through Saturday or $65.00 for three nights; $50.00 for two nights & $25.00 for one night. All reservations will be in assigned spaces and only ONE vehicle permitted per space. A tow unit (eg: cube van and a trailer) is considered one vehicle. All units must be self-contained. No water, electric or sewer hookups will be available. No waste or grey water is to be discharged onto the ground. Fees to be paid directly to the provider at time of service. NO CONES OR SIMILAR MEANS ALLOWED TO RESERVE SPACES.Exhibitors will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of their space. Anyone who does not leave their space in the same condition as when they arrived will be subject to forfeiture of future parking spaces. Spaces will be assigned in the order of receipt of their fee and Reservation Application. A confirmation will be sent for each reservation which will indicate the parking space assigned to that Reservation Application. This confirmation is the admission ticket to the parking area and must be presented upon arrival at the event grounds. PARKING SPACE IS LIMITED AND WILL LIKELY NOT BE AVAILABLE ON THE DAY OF THE EVENTS. SHOuLD SPACES BE AVAILABLE, THE PARKING FEE IS $80.00 for four nights, $65.00 for three nights, $50.00 for two nights & $25.00 for one night. If you wish to park next to a particular party, the Reservation Applications must be received in the same envelope.Overnight reservations are a privilege extended by Warrenton Kennel Club, Inc, Old Dominion Kennel Club of Northern Virginia, Inc. and Historic Long Branch Farm. Any arguing, abusive language, or failure to follow the rules or the direction of officials on duty will cause the PERMANENT forfeiture of all parking privileges without refund of fee(s) paid and the possibility of discipline by the Event Committee. Parking is strictly at the exhibitor’s risk. Warrenton Kennel Club, Inc., Old Dominion Kennel Club of Northern Virginia, Inc. and Historic Long Branch Farm is by virtue of the submittal of the Reservation Application indemnified by the applicant for responsibility for loss by fire, theft or damage or loss of personal property or the loss or injury to the animal exhibits in their charge while on the event grounds.As a courtesy, PLEASE DO NOT use generators between 11:00 P.M. and 5:00 A.M.
