Master of Business Administration

The objective of the Master of Business Administration program isto help you satisfy your intellectual curiosity, build knowledge, andprepare to successfully undertake leadership positions in competitivebusiness environments. The program will challenge you to criticallyexamine the theories and practices comprising the body of knowl-edge related to the conduct of business in dynamic environmentsand increase the breadth and depth of your skills and abilities. Uponsuccessful completion of the program, graduates will be awarded aMaster of Business Administration degree.

If your academic background does not include economics, statistics,accounting, or finance, you should attain that knowledge prior toadvancing to candidacy in the Master of Business Administrationprogram. Kaplan University offers two foundation courses specificallydesigned to expose you to these essential skills (KU 510: Foundationsof Mathematics and Economics and KU 511: Foundations ofAccounting and Finance).

The Master of Business Administration degree program consists ofa minimum of 52 quarter credit hours.

In addition, you may add a specialization to your degree plan, forwhich you are required to take a minimum of four courses from agroup of six specializations. Specializations are not required forcompletion of the general program. Specializations include finance;marketing; human resources management; information technology;entrepreneurship; and management, communication, and quality.
