Welcome to November!

We still have no definite date for our move back into our regular side of the building. The latest word is probably toward the end of December. Be-lieve me, it is as frustrating to us as it is to you! We cannot wait to get in our bright, clean new rooms with views of the outside! As soon as we know a definite date, we will inform you. It is possible that we may need a day or two without children to get moved, but hope to give you at least four weeks advance notice.

Please pay close attention to the calendars during this holiday season. The classes will be having special activities, parties, etc. and we want you to stay informed.

Thanks for being so understanding during our renovation!

Parents,

November is here. We are getting ready for winter and learning about the fall harvest. We welcomed Hazel to our table. This month our themes will be fruits, vegetables, Native Americans, scarecrows, turkeys, and cookies.

Important dates to remember: Nov. 12th Rylan’s birthday, Nov. 13th Lynlee’s birthday, and we are closed Nov. 26th and 27th for Thanks-giving.

Until next time,

Ms. Carol, Ms. Judy, Ms. Diana, and Ms. Sara

Dear Families,

What a fun-filled Halloween we had! During this month we will discuss the first Thanksgiving and what it means to be thankful for what we have.

We will begin assessing for our progress reports the first week of No-vember and our parent/teacher conferences will begin the next week. Please be on the lookout for a sign up sheet for our meetings.

Don’t forget that we will be closed on the 26th and 27th for

Thanksgiving!

Sincerely,

Mr. Mike and Mrs. Jan

Pre-K Parents,

Our tree study was a huge success and the students really retained a lot of knowledge. Our next study will be a clothing study. We will have a coat drive before Christmas to give to those in need.

During our clothing study, we will discuss career clothing, sports clothing, sizes and materials of clothing, etc. We will let you know about our special dates to wear specific types of clothing.

We hope that you are enjoying the cooler weather!!!

Until next time,

Mrs. Bretney and Ms. Jessica

Parents,

Boy, the holidays are almost here! The bad news is that we are still waiting to get back into our beautiful new classroom. We are hoping to move between Christmas and New Year, but we don’t know yet.

During this month we will be learning about the turkey, pilgrims, and Indians. On the 25th, we will have our own little Thanksgiving party.

We will continue to work on our developing skills and language skills. We also reinforce class rules such as no biting, hitting, or push-ing. All of us take these undesirable behaviors seriously.

We said a sad goodbye to Holden and welcomed Emma and Maddox. Hazel will be moving on this month and Brett will join us.

We had so much fun trick or treating! Now we move closer to Thanksgiv-ing and we are so thankful that we have such precious time to spend with your little ones. Please check on your child’s extra clothing to ensure that it is appropriate for this weather.

Ms. Linda will be taking some time off starting this month and Ms. Tammy will be working Ms. Linda’s shift until she returns . Our thoughts and prayers are with Ms. Linda and her family during this time.

Until next month,

Mrs. Linda, Ms. Angie,

Security Reminder Please remember not to let anyone into our center after putting in your code in the morning or afternoon. People have been getting into our se-cure center from good inten-tioned parents helping some-one out. We need to be careful to use each of our codes.

Please help us keep each child at our center safe and secure. We will do our part if you do your part. Remember, everyone must use your code!!! That will help us track who came into the building if there would ever be a problem.
