3. SPELLING OF THE HE / SHE / IT FORM:• Most verbs just add –s to the base form of the verb

• wants, eats, helps, ect.

• Add –ed to verbs that end in –ss, –sh, –ch, –x, and –o.

• kisses, washes, watches, fixes, goes, etc.

• Verbs that end in a consonant and –y change the y to –ies

• carries, flies, worries, tries, etc.

Active voice:
