The Zellige in Arabic, means "small polished stone" that is to say mosaics made with small fragmentsof colored tiles.

The Zellige Alteret, are unique and authentic handmade tiles, made with ancient and traditionaltechniques.

With these tiles you can create special and spectacular environments for interior and exterior design.Our Zelliges are handmade in Spain.

The game of variation of the same monochromatic color gives the pieces a unique charm, as well astheir nuances and rough edges. The Zellige gives a lot of character to any decoration, being a productmuch requested by decorators and designers. In contemporary and minimalist environments itbrings a touch of warmth.

The Zellige Alteret is a wall covering. In the event that it is installed for pavement, it must be takeninto account that it is a very fragile enamel and can be broken.

They are perfect to install in kitchens, bathrooms, counters, fireplaces, zocaladas, patios, thepossibilities of placement of the Zellige Alteret are endless.

We must bear in mind that the standard features of our Zelliges are not defects, on the contrary,these characteristics give the pieces a beauty that at the end of their placement makes them uniqueand unrepeatable:

• Variation of hue and color of all the pieces or even in a piece.• Imperfections on the surface of the pieces due to their manual manufacture.• Possible appearances of terracotta on the surface of the enameled piece.• Sides and irregular surface due to its manual manufacture.• Sides cut with beveled edges, to avoid very marked joints, allowing to cover the walls evenly.• In flexible meshes, unequal joints between pieces and different calibers.• The measurements and thicknesses are approximate.
