In Heritage Cities, the management of waste is crucial due to:

- Remarkable volume of tourism- and economic activity attached- producing significant amounts of waste.

- Necessity to preserve heritage besides running city services.

- Necessity to observe aesthetics in waste-related interventions.

Experiences and policies proved

feasible in INTHERWASTE can be

transferable to all the Heritage Cities but

also to the non-heritage ones also.

INTHERWASTE Potential

The visibility of Heritage Cities worldwide is

expected to help to extend the solutions and

policies proved feasible in the project to many

cities outside the partnership.
