FacadeThis application we set out to see how façade can replace your typical drywalls and become more than just a wall. Façade can support technology graphics and Steelcase products.

This particular project was a test run. We were given the product information and were set to create a work setting.

With this setting we were able to identify advantages and disadvantages of the Façade product.

The Stow CompanyAllard Design LLC was hired by Stow to work with their internal interior design team to explore a possible showroom re-design, as well as expansion of staff space.

Several concepts were explored, proposed, and budgeted.

The project is currently on hold as the organization has gone through some changes in management, however, the design director continues to stay in contact with Allard Design LLC and is hoping that the project will happen in the next fiscal year.

Stow has also hired Allard Design LLC to work on product development, ideation, and competitive analysis projects.

Innovation TypologiesSteelcase's R&D Group has been forging new territory in developing new ways for people to work. Through their research they have created a ground-breaking Innovation Framework that will be rolled-out to their top clients and customers. Allard Design, LLC had been invited to participate in this work. Allard Design, LLC was solely responsible for taking these Innovation Frameworks and developing them into floor plans with perspective views. These 'idea starters' will be used by the client and customer as a spring board respective to their own business innovation issues. U.S. District CourtThis project we were given the task to create different settings for the US District Courts.

We created conference rooms, meeting spaces, and project rooms. Then we compiled those settings and created different neighborhoods.

These settings were shown to the client to give them a visual on how a mobile person works and collaborates today.

Start GardenStart Garden is a start up fund and investment program, located in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan.

We were given the opportunity to design this flexible space.

By day, this space is used for a place where start up companies can come together and work on their concepts.

The space at night transforms into an event venue. The space holds seminars, sponsored art/design events, and presentations.

The space was designed all around the flexibility of the space itself.
