I.S.L.E ASSOCIATION
The full title of the association will be:
Association for Innovation, Teaching and Promoting Sustainable Development in Life Sciences, Applied Sciences and Social Sciences in
Europe and worldwide.

To achieve its goals, the I.S.L.E Association will :
a) Create and maintain a network of European and non-European universities and or research institutions, Non Governmental Organizations, businesses, other organizations or individuals involved in the implementation of sustainable development and its promotion in their activities.
b) Develop and implement activities related to the European program ERASMUS ISLE “Innovation in the teaching of Sustainable Development in Life Sciences in Europe” No. 177267-LLP-1-2010-1-FR-ERASMUS-ENWA, as defined in the document of acceptance from the European Commission.
c) Create geographic areas to promote development of regional activities. Each geographical area will be lead by a Delegate, an active member of the Association and appointed by the Board of Directors for a term of two years. The Delegate will report its action to the President of the Association.

d) Organize conferences, topical meetings, seminars etc. on subjects related to the goals of the Association.
e) Create and disseminate knowledge through books, written documents or periodicals, educational materials, websites or other digital means including designing and maintaining a website or a platform distance learning,
f) Prepare expert advice, and carry out technical or scientific missions.

Roles within the I.S.L.E Association
The Administrative Board: 5 or 7 people
- makes the major decisions concerning the activities of the association . - decisions are made by voting during the Administrative Board meetings. - The Board appoints a Committee (4 members of the 5/7 Admin Board)
In addition to the Committee members, the Board comprises two administrators who may occupy specific "delegate" functions such as:
- Communication : he/she deals with the Association's external communication strategy (website, , information posters, mailings)- Logistics: he/she deals the travel logistics of members (AGM, participation in conferences etc.)- Managing partnerships : he/she is concerned with finding and negotiating with partners. - Publications: he/she takes care to write and to write articles on behalf of the association, to find funding for it, etc.

It implements the decisions voted by the Administrative Board and ensures the functioning of the administration of the association:
