Year 5/6 Excursion recount On Tuesday the 20th of November 5/6 students from LEPS went to Melbourne, Ballarat and Bendigo on camp. We had to be at school by 6am with our luggage and we left and 6.15am sharp. Our first stop was a resting area where we ate our morning tea and had a toilet break. We got back on the bus and headed to Melbourne. When we arrived in Melbourne we ate our lunch next to the Yarra River. We then went to the Aquarium the 5/6 students went into 4 groups and had a guided tour through the Aquarium and saw interesting animals like wobbegongs. We left the Aquarium and went to the Melbourne museum. We saw ancient animals such as dinosaurs. After the museum we went to our motel in Ballarat, it was called Cardigan Lodge. We settled in then ate dinner. The next day we went to Sovereign Hill and panned for gold. We also saw gold pouring. After Sovereign Hill we went straight to bowling there was lots of loud music and it was fun. Thursday the 22nd of November was our last day of camp. We went to the Bendigo Discovery Centre where we went down the vertical slide. In conclusion camp was extremely enjoyable.
