One of the greatest youth football tournaments in E urope The Memorial Sergio Castelletti is in terms of size and quality one of the most important sporting events that take place in Florence and its metro-politan area, second only to Florence Marathon. The value of the event and the joyful atmosphere that you breathe, make that many important Italian and European clubs participate in the event year after year to enjoy a fan-tastic weekend of sports and entertainment. In the previous 22 editions have taken part in the tournament teams from all over Europe: Bayern Munchen, Ajax, Juventus, Espanyol, Fiorentina, Anderlecht, Inter, Atalanta, Roma, Schalke 04, Olympique Marseille, Milan, Torino, Djurgardens, Va-sas, Hajduk, Honved, Parma, Hamburg, Valencia, Rapid Vienna, Monaco, Bologna, Luzern, Cluj, Siena, Empoli, 1860 Munchen, Livorno, Lazio, Grasshoppers, Cannes, Alicante, Stuttgart, Shamrock Rovers, Wacker Innsbruck, Lugano, Ethnikos Achnas, Zurich, Casino Salzburg, Maribor, Genoa and many others representing diferent football schools and cultures. The sporting event can satisfy even the desire to spend a pleasant week-end surrounded by the incomparable beauty of Florence and the surround-ing area. Players, trainers and supporters will be accommodated in hotels 4 and 3 stars, from which they can easily reach the playing fields and the city center. The Memorial Sergio Castelletti consists of 4 tournaments, the most prestigious of which is the Europe Cup U12 , which in 2013 was won for the fourth time by Hajduk Split that preceded Fiorentina, Juventus and Valen-cia. In addition to the Europe Cup U12 were played the Coppa Italia U10 Open, the Exhibition Cup (U12) and the Coppa dell’Amicizia (U10). In to-tal, the 2013 edition about 800 athletes took part to this great event.

EUROPE CUP U12 The most prestigious! Among all Memorial Sergio Castelletti tournaments, the most prestigious one is the Europe Cup U12. It is reserved to the category U12 (2002). 12 profes-sional clubs from all over Europe and 4 teams in the representation of our Com-mittee. The first edition of the Europe U12 Cup was played in 1992. EXHIBITION CUP The most fun! The Exhibition Cup tournament is the most fun. It is reserved to the category U12 (2002). Amateur clubs and pure youth division teams are allowed only. We select only high-quality teams. The tournament is very competitive and really spectacular. Closely linked to Europe Cup U12. DEFENDING CHAMPION FC SUNO (Italia)

COPPA ITALIA OPEN U10 The most exciting! The Coppa Italia Open U10 is the most exciting tournament included in the Me-morial Sergio Castelletti. It is reserved to the category U10 (2004). The 2014 edition The Centro Formazione Calcio is glad invite your club to the XXIII edition of the Memorial Sergio Castelletti. There are up to a maximum of 16 teams per tournament. The draw for the qualifying rounds and the resulting combinations of the final rounds will take place approximately one month before the tournament. Draw teams will be divided into groups and subgroups on the basis of three parameters: • International ranking of the club; • MSC Ranking of the club; • Organization requirements. The matches of the Europe Cup U12 Cup and Exhibition Cup will take place at: • Sesto Fiorentino (Florence) - Stadio Comunale Torrini (natural grass + cover and uncovered stands + bar + pizzeria); • Scandicci (Florence) - Campo Sportivo Comunale Bartolozzi (synthetic grass + covered stand + bar + pizzeria); • Lastra a Signa (Florence) - Campo Sportivo Comunale The Guardian (synthetic grass + uncovered stand + bar + pizzeria); • Sesto Fiorentino (Florence) - Campo Sportivo Comunale Biagiotti (synthetic grass + covered stands+ bar + pizzeria ). All Coppa Italia Open U10 and Coppa dell’Amicizia matches will take place on the synthetic subsidiary ground of the Stadio Comunale Torrini in Sesto Fiorentino.


PLAYING TIME AND TOURNAMENT REGULATIONS

The detailed rules of tournaments, will be sent to participating teams, 3 weeks before the event. Categories, formula and race times (the formula and race times are subject to change based on the number of partici-pating teams ): • Europe Cup U12 players born in 2002, is played on the regular field 11:11 • 4 groups of four teams / semifinals and finals • all positions are assigned / all teams play 4 games. • 20 'x 2 • Exhibition Cup players born in 2002, is played on the regular field 11:11 • 2 groups of four teams / finals • all positions are assigned / all teams play 4 games. • 20 'x 2 • Coppa Italia Open U10 players born in 2004, is played in half field 7:7 • 4 groups of four teams / final rounds of 4 teams. • all positions are as-signed / all teams play 6 games. • Round: 15 'x 1 • final rounds: 15' x 2 • Coppa dell’ Amicizia players born in 2004, is played in half field 7:7 • 1 round of four teams. • All teams play 3 games. • 20 'x 2

Football has great appeal throughout the world and every event is a phenomenal aggregation opportunity that none of us should underestimate. The football and sport in general, can be used to bridge the cultural gaps, to meet peoples and stimulate mutual knowledge about, to educate people on the principles of coexistence such as compliance and anti-racism. For all these reasons Memorial Sergio Castelletti is an event conceived, designed and commissioned by the Centro Formazione Calcio for bringing nations close together and offer our young peo-ple a great growth opportunity. The Memorial Sergio Castelletti offers them the chance to appreciate how wonderful it is to share with other hundreds of players from all over Europe the joys and disappointments of the best sport in the world and how everything unites us and makes us feel closer, supportive and generous. The Memorial Sergio Castelletti is not only matches, results and rankings, but like all sports that have the ambition of higher and nobler aims wants to contribute to developing the body and mind of young athletes who participate. We are convinced of the centrality of sport in our society. it is the best way to promote good behavior and help changes. To the players, managers, their families and fans we offer special conditions of living in the metropoli-tan area of Florence. We can offer special prices in 3 or 4 star hotel well connected with the city center. In 2013 we welcomed hundreds of people. Parents and fans can have fun support-ing their teams and visit the artistic treasures of Florence. It is advisable to book in advance and upon specific request you can extend the length of stay. The warm and festive that distin-guishes the event, will give all participants a weekend full of harmony and happiness.
