Objectives
• To know whether the PTPTN loan is enough for students expenses.
• To determine how much students at Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) spend their money in a month?
• To be able to apply the scientific method while doing this research.

Hypothesis
The loan from PTPTN are not enough to support student’s expenses because the cost of education are not affordable to everyone.

Methodology• Interview Short interview is done to get the overview of the research. • Survey We conduct a survey on how the student manage their money in a
month. The survey was conducted in student’s hostel. • Questionare The questionare is distributed among the student around the
campus. There is 50 sheets of questionare that have been prepared.

• 14 of the students spend RM2000 - RM2999• 20 of the students spend RM3000 – RM3999• 10 of the students spend RM4000 – RM4999. • 4 respondents spend about RM5000 and
above for whole semester.

• 62% of the students spend most of the money for food.
• 18% of the students spend most of the money for study.
• 12% of the students spend most of the money for students needs, like toiletries and cloth.
• 8% of the students spend most of the money for outing.

CONCLUSION

Students agreed that the loan are not enough because PTPTN do not fully covered their expenses. But having PTPTN loan helps them much in pursuing their higher education.
