•One of the main streets in the area is Piraios Street to the north, where the Industrial area is located•During the middle-war period most of the industries were established on Piraios Street•In the ’70s many industries have been moved close to the National Road•The re-use of the area Municipality of Tavros is already in process. Pivate companies and public authorities are involved. Bars, Clubs, trade centers, Malls and cultural centers are the main uses.

• The industrial area is situated in the heart of the municipality.

• The area is not limited to Tavros, but is extended also to the city of Athens

• The plans for re-using the area started in the ’90s but the local community was not consulted
