Quality assurance is a vital factor for all eco-nomic sectors, in order to ensure business sustainability and quality of delivered results. In education and training, quality assurance is given particular attention, in line with European policies for lifelong learning. In adult education, though, due to the diversity of the institutes that deliver it, quality assurance is missing or not guaranteed.
QUADRAT project therefore proposes the development and delivery of a training course and innovative software support, addressed to
• managers • administrative staff • trainers
of adult training institutes in the subject of Quality Management in order to empower
them to be actively involved and engaged in the designing and imple-mentation of quality management systems thus contributing to the quality improvement of processes and services of these organisations.
outcomes:
Training material, including key competencies of staff and case studies of the application of ISO 9001:2008 in adult training organization procedures.
The software will cover the management of a variety of records, such as training of trainers, maintenance of equipment, management of com-plaints of learners, corrective and preventive ac-tions records and monitoring of goal achievement.
A training course titled ISO 9001:2008 for adult training organi-zations, to help them implement and manage their quality system.
