and four times greater for smokers.

O Smoking causes about 90 percent of lung cancer.

O Look at the difference between a healthy lung and a cancer lung:

O Smoking is also associated with other cancers: mouth, larynx, pharynx, esophagus, stomach, pancreas, kidney, etc.

Why Do People Smoke Tobacco?

O Tobacco is very addictive.

O When you start using tobacco, your body needs the substance. You become dependent on it.

because it’s a very good source of revenue for the goverment.

O However, on each pack of tobacco, it is required to include either a written warning such as ‘Smoking kills’ or an image of the damage caused by smoking.
