Who can participate?All 1st & 2nd year students of the full time MBA or equivalent program recognized by AICTE. A team can have a combination of 1st & 2nd year students. In case of two teams, no member should be in common.Flow of Event:1. All participating teams should register by 27th August 2019 on Dare2Compete2. Kindly fill in all the details asked for on the link with an abstract of 150 words.3. A soft copy of the written report should be mailed to [email protected] on or before

2nd September 2019.4. All teams are advised not to reveal their identity (Institute’s name & Participant’s names)

anywhere in the written report, except in the registration form and the cover page of thereport. The cover page should contain the title, the Institute’s name and the participant’sname and contact details.

5. Accordingly, six teams will be shortlisted on the basis of the written report.6. These six finalists will be declared on 9th September 2019 at 5.30 PM. The same will be

communicated via email or phone to the finalists.7. The six finalists need to make a presentation for a duration of 15 minutes before a panel of

judges. The presentation will be followed by a question & answer round of 10 minutes. Thejudges will be asking the questions. Topic for the presentation will be the same as thatmentioned in the written report submitted in order to qualify as a finalist. The teams will beevaluated ONLY on the basis of the final presentation and question & answer round.

8. Scores of the presentation will not be disclosed and the decision of the judges would be final.Any disputes arising are subject to Mumbai jurisdiction.

Facilities Provided:Outstation teams, who make it to the finals, will be reimbursed with AC Three Tier Train ticket fare from the location of their institute to Mumbai (by the shortest route). Travel, accommodation & meals will be taken care of by N. L. Dalmia Institute.

Format for the Report is as follows:1. Word limit: 4500 to 6000 words, exclusive of annexures.2. Page Format: A4 paper size with 1-inch margin on all sides; Line spacing 1.5; Single spaced

12 point; Times New Roman font.3. Figures, Tables, and Equations: All figures, tables, and equations are to be included within

the prescribed page limit. All tables and figures should have a caption. The description of the figure should be provided below and left aligned. Equations are to be serially numbered.

4. Body of the paper: Section headings are to be in uppercase, bold, 12-point font and centred. Sub-section headings are to be in title case, bold, 12-point font, and left justified. Sub-sub-section headings are to be in title case, italicized, 12-point font, and indented 0.5 inches. All headings are to be separated from the following paragraph with a blank line. Starting line of a paragraph should be indented 0.5 inches. Separate paragraphs with a blank line.

N. L. Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research reserves the right to print and publish the team’s report in full or in part in its journal.

References:The list of references should appear at the end of the main text. Please ensure that every reference cited in the text is also present in the reference list (and vice versa). Any references cited in the abstract must be given in full. Unpublished results and personal communications are not recommended in the reference list, but may be mentioned in the text.
