How conventional is my digipak and

advertisement?

What is a Digipak?

A digipak is a elaborated version of a Cd cover. The digipak has a minimum of Four panels which allows basic information to be included such as album and Artist name and also information such as copyrights, track listing, barcodes etc…Extra panels can be used for imagery, this would allow the artist image to be Projected to the audience.

What is a advertisement?

An advertisement is used to promote the digipak and the artist. Forexample a Picture of the digipak would normally be on the bottom corner of the Advertisement. Other information such as ratings, tour dates, artist and album Name would be mentioned on it. This allows the audience to receive informationAbout the artist and album. Advertisements could be used as a form to get Information across to the audience.

What is the purpose of a digipak?

- Project and create the artist image- Create a package to sell the CD- The use of thumb nail such a the itunes logo give a strong image and is a- Form of marketing.
