Who would be the audience for your media product?

Music TasteAs the magazine is a music magazine, the main interest I needed to consider is the genre – that being R&B/Hip-Hop – therefore, I used

artist that are under this genre. This is shown on all pages, including double-page spread, as there is a chance to win tickets to a

recognisable artist of this genre. My focus group recognised the artist featured, which shows that my magazine will appeal to their music

interests.

InterestsI included things that would interest the target audience, this included the

fashion sense of my target audience.The outfit plan (on photo-shoot plan) is very aimed towards the target

audience, as it would refer to how they dress and to what they are attracted to, so this was a very important feature to my magazine.

This was also an interest that they enjoyed when initially planning my product which I found out through conducting my interviews.
