Monza 2018

The idea behind the Pilota Ferrari Limited Edition is to allow all the Pilota Ferrari customers to put their techniques and driving skills to the test on some of the most famous racetracks in the world. Monza International Circuit was built in 1922, and it is one the oldest of the world's purpose-built motor racing circuit. The circuit's biggest event is the Formula One Italian Grand Prix; with the exception of 1980, the race has been hosted there since the series's inception. In 1955 the high speed loop was put in use and recently it has been object of conservative restoration enabling the visit of the public and the transit of the car. Participants will enjoy personalised instruction and improve their skills with the help of video and telemetry which is used to compare their performance with that of expert professional drivers. They will also have the unique opportunity to drive on the high speed historical circuit (on the sopraelevata). The didactic progression will be offered thanks to the intensive use of video and telemetry, that will allow the participants to compare their performances with the ones of prestigious professional race drivers-instructors In addition, the programme will be integrated with a driving competition which is carried out on the track using data acquisition systems and through practical car handling exercises. Finally the participants will have the fantastic opportunity to drive on track the 488 Challenge car, to make the Limited Edition Course experience even more exceptional.

THE COURSE

The course lasts two days and takes place on the ‘Autodromo Nazionale di Monza’ (Milan) on 25-26 September.

A team of qualified instructors will be at the complete disposal of the participants, a maximum of 16 per course divided into four groups.

A fleet of 9 Ferrari 488 GTB, 4 Ferrari 812 Superfast and 6 Ferrari 488 Challenge will be available.

FEE & LOGISTICS

The course fee is 30.000 Euros (VAT excluded) per participant.

This includes two days at the track, two evening meals, two night’s accommodation at the Hotel TownHouse Galleria 5*s, meals at the track, transfers to hotel, track and dinners and Pilota Ferrari gifts.

Each participant may be accompanied by one guest who will be given the opportunity to take part in a specific programme. Guest should share the room with the participant. The guest fee is 2.500 Euros (VAT excluded).

WHAT TO WEAR

We recommend casual sportswear for track activities (it is particularly important to choose footwear that is suitable for driving). There is no specific dress code for dinner on either of the nights.

We will provide personalized suit, shoes, gloves and helmet to each participant.

The Autodromo Nazionale Monza, famed throughout the world as the Temple of Speed, is the

world's third purpose-built motor racing circuit. The Formula One Italian Grand Prix has been hosted

there since the series's inception.

The Limited Edition programme includes some track driving sessions on the high speed ring

(‘sopraelevata'). A track made up by two semi-circular bends which was connected by two straights

for a total circuit length of 4,250 m and a maximum inclination corresponded to 80%.

The Garage Italia Milano Restaurant occupies a single

large, trapezoidal hall overlooking the Accursio square, with panels of glass smoothly enlightening the environment that faces the building’s wings.

At the center of the space, the body of a Ferrari 250 GTO has been transformed into a functional cocktail station to enhance the evenings. On the ceiling, the

shape of a real toy electric track invites to fall back into childhood, for a total of 35 mt of wood with steel

inserts, with 22 mini Formula 1 models.
