Why do we take test? Tests are simple was to track your level of
understanding. Schools use tests to track your knowledge and proficiency.
Think about your life and the people you know.
Can you name one occupation that must take a test before they can be hired?

Even you must take a test…
If you want a driver’s license you must take a test
If you want to graduate from high school you must take a few tests
If you want to get into college you will have to take at least 1-2 tests
So…what can you do differently?

Strategy #1 Be well prepared for the material being
presented.
• Study often and take the process seriously. Read, listen and take good notes in class. Remember to review your notes for at least 30-45 minutes each day.
Good grades do not happen by accident!

Sometimes you just need to understand what to look for first. This is called reading for information.
