Bid security
• Bid bond – Prepared in accordance with provincial/territorial
electronic documents and commerce legislation, – Submitted through the Electronic Bidding System, – Issued by an approved company whose bonds are
acceptable to the Government of Canada or that is listed on the Treasury Board Secretariat’s website at http://www.tbs-sct.gc.ca/pol/doc-eng.aspx?id=14494§ion=text#appL, and
– Verifiable i.e. the results of the verification process shall provide a clear and immediate indication that the document received is the true document executed and that the content has not been changed or altered.

Basic Information
The opportunity abstract is a summary of the tender documents and an overview of what you need to know before you order the tender documents.

Follow this opportunity and receive notifications of amendments or receive the physical amendments documents.

From the Documents & Items tab, you will find the tender documents.

Your profile details
Be certain that your profile information on MERX is correct with your true and valid information. That information will appear under the Plan Holders List.

The Audit tab is where you can find a historical summary of the documents and activities for a specific solicitation.
Publication and amendment
Ordering Documents
Local Construction Associations (LCA) will continue to have access to our documents and be able to advertise our opportunities on their web sites. The relationship with the LCAs has not changed.

When you are ready to order your documents, click on ORDER.

In the shopping cart you must select a delivery method and the quantity of each document you want. We recommend Download, but you can view the other available options.

Here are your order details. You can see your confirmation number. Proceed with the download of your documents from the Download column.

Bid Intent Applies only when DCC is requesting the bidders to confirm their intent to bid. Otherwise, the button will not be visible

Once you’ve made the decision that you intend on bidding, return to the opportunity abstract of the solicitation you are interested in and select BID INTENT.

Select if your response: “Intent to bid” or “Intent not to bid”. You can always make a change to your choice in the menu options.

To make a change to your Intent, click on Solicitations from the top menu, then Bid Management. Find the solicitations of interest and from the Actions column, select Edit.

Bid Intent This window will open, follow the instructions to make your change to your bid intent status. Submit intent to continue.

When ready to submit your bid, select the solicitation and select Place Bid. Follow the easy steps.
