Feb-Mar 2021 Bi-monthly Newsletter

From the editor’s deskDear Readers,

With this edition, the rejuvenated Fsai Buzz could prove to be sustainable and successful by bringing out all the 6 bi-monthly editions as per schedule within the fiscal spell between April 2020 and March’21. With assured support from readers’ fraternity we wish to maintain the momentum and use it as a condensed complementary to the Fsai Journal editions. Incidentally the Journal has already turned 5 on January’21 and we plan to take out a special supplement sharing few achievement highlights and milestones being set up for future. As already been planned out, slowly and steadily FSAI shall resume both the conventional and creative field level programs with strict adherence to the ongoing restrictions on social distancing, lesser gatherings, ensuring of frequent sanitization, hand wash, PPE compliance etc.

In the above context the “maha Yatra” segment of “iFsY’21 (part of Fsie ’21) & Fist awards 2021 scheduled to be held at different locations across the country on 23rd April, would be an exciting mix of both “on-site and virtual”. Besides, a unique ‘demo’ session on the ‘virtual’ part of FSIE (‘Exhibition’ segment) was also successfully held on 23rd March to inspire prospective and potential exhibitors.

The other most significant “on-site” chapter level activities which could be carried out between January & March ‘21 are:

i) goa - a) Launching of chapter level Women Wing on 26th February in line with the National Women Wing of FSAI, which was launched in October last year. This was preceded by an “All Women” expert Panel Discussion on Women Safety and Security.

b) Network Meet to deliberate was held on 12th March 2021 to deliberate about “impact of Budget on msme’s”.

ii) mumbai - International women day celebration.

iii) Jaipur - School Safety Program.

Till the end of 2020, the overall figures (rounded of) comprising of events and participation with registration to Webinars have crossed 150 and 37,000 respectively. Subsequently it has been again upbeat in 2021. There were 6 programs in February (which constitute the content segment of this edition) with a participation closer to 1, 500.

Accordingly, the reading menu consist of:

A: Important Notifications related to:

a) maha Yatra covering Fsie’21 and Fist awards’21.

b) Fsai life marathon (Virtual) Run (and Walk) for Surakshit Bharat Mission.

Incidentally the above event also synchronizes with the observance of National Fire service day (April, 14th) and associated week long activities, proceeds of which will go to a noble cause of inspiring and supporting the unsung Covid-19 Warriors who have rendered yeomen service to society all through the most difficult situations of last year.

B: Report on the “On-site” Training and promotional activities.

C: Webinar coverage.

D: Regular features.

Please view the exciting pictures and flyers and read on the associated brief narratives that come up in succeeding pages.
