Welcome to the PCHi Press & Publicity Manual. This guide highlights the complimentary pre-show publicity activities available to exhibitors, and is designed to help you plan your promotional opportunities for a successful exhibition at PCHi. Promoting Your Company As an exhibitor, the best way to maximise your time at PCHi, and to have a successful event, is to publicise your participation and raise your company’s profile before the show. Apart from the various marketing and sponsorship opportunities provided by the show team, there are several other complimentary publicity opportunities available to exhibitors like yourself. Submit your press releases Our PR team regularly shares news and information about PCHi with the international trade media, with the aim of generating publicity for PCHi and its exhibitors. Whether you are a first-time exhibitor, or are planning special marketing activities at PCHi, we’d like to help you spread the word! Share your latest news with our PR team. The information may be featured in PCHi’s press releases, e-newsletters, and other publicity platforms for free. Share new product launches As an innovation-led event that showcases the latest technologies, machinery, and products, PCHi is indisputably the preferred avenue for product launches. If your company is launching new products at PCHi, let us know in advance and we’ll provide you with ‘new launch’ signage for display at your booth. Increase visitor traffic to your booth, and gain additional publicity onsite, at no extra cost! Please send all press releases and/or product launch materials by 15 February 2015 to Ms. Alina Tee at [email protected].

Tweet us @PCHiChina or #PCHi2015 PCHi Awards The PCHi Awards Program recognises exhibitors that have thoughtfully designed their booths, prepared useful communications about their company and offerings, and that have delivered the benefits of their key products in the most engaging presentations at PCHi. A panel of esteemed judges including reputable media partners, associations, and the PCHi organising committee, will review all nominations during PCHi 2015! Award categories, and the judging criteria, are listed below:

Best Booth Design Booth aesthetics (colours, graphics, etc.) Creative, eye-catching booth elements (use of lighting, materials/textures, etc.) Functionality of design (welcoming to visitors, conducive for discussions, etc.) ‘Green’ factor (use of environmentally-friendly materials)

Best Communications Communication materials available in both English and Mandarin Corporate messages and product information conveyed prominently and clearly (use of messaging

brochures, exhibits, etc.) Staff knowledge (complete understanding of company and exhibiting products)
