Darren Teoh from AMP Capital presented a large end user’s perspective on the drivers for energy efficiency upgrades. The second half of the morning was dedicated to ‘applied energy efficiency’, in which end users and contractors shared their success stories. Ecovantage’s Bertram Duerr presented a successful retailer building upgrade, while Rod Kington shared his insights from a commercial building HVAC upgrade. The day concluded with a tour of the TAFE Ultimo campus, conducted by Head Teacher Irfan Hai, and a display of the ARBS renewable energy technology solar air-conditioning project, which is currently in its data collection phase. ebm-papst would like to thank all presenters, guests and TAFE Ultimo for their support in organising this event, which is sure to be continued in the future.
