Description

Pressure sensors for general application are topof the range pressure transducers.

Their accuracy, reliability, resistance to corrosionand mechanical load make them suitable for allpressure measuring tasks - in production,development or in the laboratory.

The measuring ranges, graded in accordancewith EN, range from 25 mbar to the maximumpressure range of 4000 bar. The case and wettedparts comprise stainless steel and are thusresistant to chemically aggressive media. Thepressure connection and measuring element arewelded together, making the measuring systemparticularly resistant to mechanical shock orvibration.

For more difficult measuring tasks (e.g. hydro-static column), two potentiometers enable thezero point and measuring range to be set.

The pressure sensors for general applicationmeet the electronic magnetic compatibility(EMC) requirements to EN 61326.

Description

Pressure sensors for general Application are top of therange pressure transducers.

Their accuracy, reliability, resistance to corrosion and me-chanical load rating make them suitable for all pressuremeasuring tasks - in production, development or in the la-boratory.

The front flush pressure diaphragm avoids zones, inwhich medium could crystallize or residues could form,thus ensuring trouble-free pressure measurement andhygienic cleaning of the pressure sensors.

The measuring ranges, graded in accordance with EN,range from 0.1 bar to 600 bar. The case and wetted partscomprise stainless steel and are thus resistant to chemi-cally aggressive media. With the aid of an integrated coo-ling element, the sensors can be supplied with mediumtemperatures up to 150 °C.

For more difficult measuring tasks (e.g. hydrostatic co-lumn), two potentiometers enable the zero point andmeasuring range to be set.

The pressure sensors for general Application meet theelectronic magnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements toEN 61 326.

Pressure sensors Compact are top of the rangepressure sensors.

Compact, sturdy, accurate and long-term stable,they perform industrial pressure measuring jobsreliable in the fields of production anddevelopment and in the laboratory.

The compact design with G 1⁄4 B pressureconnection enables space-saving and low-weightinstallation. The materials and technology usedmake these pressure sensors insensitive tochemically aggressive media and mechanicalload.

Measuring ranges from 250 mbar up to 1000 bar,graded in accordance with EN, offer a widerange of possible applications. The overload limitup to 16 bar is 3.5-fold, between 16 and 600 bar2-fold and above 600 bar 1.5-fold.

The short response time of the pressure sensorsof < 1ms enables peak pressures with frequen-cies of up to 150 Hz to be measured. DIN plugsor cable outlets are used to pick up the electricaloutput signals.

The Compact pressure sensors meet theelectromagnetic compatibility (EMC) to EN61326.

DescriptionPressure sensors working on the hall effect principle pro-vide a low prieced solution for many measuring tasks.

With aid of a flexible measuring element and by applyingthe hall effect the pressure to be measured is convertedinto an electrical signal.

The compact sensor design with G 1/4 B pressureconnection enables space-saving and low-weight installa-tion.

The long-term experienced components are fitted in astainless steel casing.

The wetted parts consist either of stainless steel 1.4571or a copper alloy.

For connection of an electrical output signal, plugs accor-ding to DIN 43 650 or cable outlets are available.

For applications in the field of refrigeration pressure sen-sors with special pressure connection (7/16 UNF femalethread Schrader and copper tube for weld-on connection)are available. Other versions can be delieverd on request.

Pressure Sensors „MagTrans“ are the idealsolution for Oem applications for mid to highquantities. This is a result of good technicalspecifications and a very attractive price level.Due to the use of state of the art production lineswe are able to provide short lead times and highquality.

The compact design with G 1⁄4 B pressureconnection enables space-saving and low-weightinstallation.

By using components approved in large-volumeproduction „MagTrans“ reaches a very highdegree of reliability for an extreme favourableprice.

As a standard the pressure sensor provides anstandardized voltage output. For applicationsextremly critical in price a ratiometric output canbe obtained.

Round connectors M12x1 or cable outlets areused to pick up the electrical output signals.

Description

Pressure sensors Precision are top of the rangeprescision pressure sensors.

With a standard accuracy of 0.1% and optionalaccuracy of 0.05%, these pressure sensors areparticularly suitable for use in testing orcalibration systems. The program-controlled tem-perature compensation system practically elimi-nates temperature-related measurement errors inthe range 0°C to 50°C.

The front flush pressure diaphragm avoidszones, in which medium could crystallize orresidues could form, thus ensuring trouble-freepressure measurement and hygenic cleaning ofthe pressure sensor.

Description

-pressure sensors Industrial Heavy Duty aretop of the range products in Ex pressure gaugetechnology.

The intrinsically safe Ex-pressure sensors aredesigned for zone 1 and have special type ap-proval for use in potentially explosiveatmospheres and a CENELEC certificateaccording to the new ATEX 100a. The newregulation will be valid after 30.06.2003.

The measuring ranges, graded in accordancewith EN, range from 100 mbar to themaximum pressure range of 4000 bar. Thecase and wetted parts comprise stainless steeland are thus resistant to chemically aggressivemedia. The pressure connection andmeasuring element are welded together,making the measuring system particularlyresistant to mechanical shock or vibration.The pressure connection is fitted with a G 1⁄2male thread. Several electrical connectionscan be obtained to pick up the electrical outputsignal.

Description

The intrinsically safe Ex-pressure sensors are designedfor zone 1 and have special type approval for use in po-tentially explosive atmosphere and a CENELEC certifica-te according to the new ATEX 100a. The new regulationwill be valid after 30.06.2003.

Due to the systematic use of high-grade stainless steelfor the wetted parts, this sensor is suitable for aggressivemedia. For measuring tasks in aggressive media a speci-al version with PTFE cable can be obtained.

A hermetically sealed stainless steel case allows thepressure sensor to be immersed down to a depth of 300m.

The inner vented connection cable makes pressure com-pensation of the measuring cell against the atmospherepossible and thus hydrostatic pressure measurement.

The mechanical fastening of the pressure sensor doesnot require any additional strain relief, as the constructionof the cable is suitable to take a maximum tensile force of1000 N. An additional weight can be screw-fitted to in-crease the actual weight of the sensor.

The pressure sensors special meet the electronic magne-tic compatibility (EMC) requirements to EN 61326.

Description

The pressure sensor special for submersiblemeasurement has been developed especially foruse in liquids for hydrostatic level measurement.Due to the systematic use of stainless steel forthe wetted parts, this sensor is suitable for thefood industry without any restrictions. Formeasuring tasks in aggressive media a specialversion with PTFE cable can be obtained.A hermetically sealed stainless steel case with aprotection type IP 68 allows the pressure sensorto be immersed down to a depth of 300 m.The inner vented connection cable makespressure compensation of the measuring cellagainst the atmosphere possible and thushydrostatic pressure measurement.The mechanical fastening of the pressure sensordoes not require any additional strain relief, asthe construction of the cable is suitable to take amaximum tensile force of 1000 N. An additionalweight can be screw-fitted to increase the actualweight of the sensor.For mains-independent service in the field, thesensor can operate with a supply voltage of 6V.The sensor can be obtained with a lightningprotection.To determine the media temperaturethe submersible sensor can be equiped with a PT100 sensor.The pressure sensor special for submersiblemeasurment meets the electromagneticcompatibility (EMC) requirements to EN 61326.

Description

Tecsis pressure sensors for the food industryfulfill the special requirements of pressureconnections in food industry, and they offer awide range of different connections.

The combination of pressure sensor and specialconnection result in a better performance of theinstrument. It can replace a necessary chemicalseal systeme. All wetted parts are made ofstainless steel and completely welded. Therobust case is also made of stainless steel. Itprovides a protection type of at least IP65. Thepressure transmitting liquid is approved by FDA.

The pressure sensor model 3269 is designed toensure the surfaces exposed to the process iscrack or crevice free according to the hygienicrescriptions. Pressure connections with Clamp-connector or according to DIN 11851respectively Varivent connections are available.

An integrated cooling element guaranteestemperature ranges up to 150 °C.

Description

Standard system pressure gauges and the safetyversion to EN 837-1 / S3 meet the specialrequirements of the chemical and relatedindustries with regard to safety, reliability,corrosion resistance and robustness.

The special feature of tranducers with localdisplay is an analog display of the measuredvalue on side and the output of a correspondingelectrical standard signal (mostly 4...20mA) fortransmitting the measured value. A pressurerelated mechanical measuring element(diaphragm or Bourdon tube) provides the localdisplay and simultaneously controls a magnetic-field dependent sensor. The integratedelectronics supply the standardized signal.

Gauges with liquid filling provide a practicallyvibration-free display if pressure surges ormechanical vibrations arise and have aparticularly long service life.

For more difficult measuring tasks (e.g. hydro-static column), two potentiometers enable thezero point and measuring range to be set.

DescriptionThe hand-held pressure measuring instrument „Mano-port“ is a handy digital indicator for all types of pressuremeasurements.

The external pressure sensor can be obtained for measu-ring ranges from 0 . . . 0.1 bar up to 0 . . . 4000 bar. Sen-sors are available for both gauge and absolute pressure.

All wetted parts are made of stainless steel and are high-ly resistant against corrosive gases and fluids. For vis-cous or crystallizing media front-flush diaphragms areavailable, avoiding dead pressure zones.

The sensors are automatically detected by the instrumentand set up their nominal measuring range including deci-mal point. To indicate variable pressure signals the instru-ment provides a measured value memory (HOLD) and apeak value memory (MIN and MAX). The reading can bedisplayed in a great variety of different units.

Depending on the process requirements, sensors withaccuracies better than ± 0.25% respectively ± 0.5% of fullscale value can be applied.

The built-in battery ensures independence from a stationarypower supply and avoids any injury risk by mains voltage.

The hand-held pressure measuring instrument has a ro-bust water protected case and can be used in nearly anyenvironment.

Description

The hand-held pressure measuring instrument"Manoport" is a handy digital indicator for gasand air pressure measurements. The "Manoport"is equiped with an integrated differential pressuresensor which can be obtained for four differentpressure ranges between 140 mbar and 6900mbar. To measure positive or negative gaugepressure leave the second line open toatmospheric pressure.

To indicate variable pressure signals theinstrument provides a measured value memory(HOLD) and a peak value memory (MIN andMAX). The filter mode allows to stable thereading. Description

tecsis electronic pressure switches are based onthe sensor elements which have beenexperienced for years in the field of pressuresensors. The signal conditioning circuit providesone or two digital outputs .

As a standard, the pressure switch is factoryadjusted according to the customersrequirements. The programming can also bedone by the customer himself with an additionalprogramming module. The setting of theswitching function respectively the setting of theswitching window, the setpoint and the switchinghysteresis can be made completely digital bymeans of a PC running under Windows.

Their accuracy, reliability, resistance to corrosionand mechanical load rating make them suitablefor all switching tasks.

The measuring ranges, graded in accordance toEN, range from 0.25 bar to 1000 bar. The caseand wetted parts are of stainless steel and areresistant to chemically aggressive media. Thepressure connection and the sensor element arecompletely welded, making the measuring systeminsensitive against mechanical shock andvibrations.

The electronic pressure switches meet theelectronic magnetic compatibility (EMC)requirements according to EN 61326.

Description

The new electronic pressure switches„MagSwitch“ on hall effect principle are applicablein all fields that require the reliability of semi-conductor relays. This switching principle withoutmechanical contact ensures a long working life.

By means of an elastic measuring element andby applying the hall effect a switching output isgenerated at a given pressure value. The switchis available with a NO or NC contact.

The switching points can be set on site viathe turning screws.

The pressure ranges from 0.1 bar up to 600 bargraded in accordance with EN offer a wide rangeof possible applications. The overload limit up to10 bar is 5-times, at 10 bar 4-times and above 10bar 2-times the nominal pressure.

The variety of pressure connections allows to usethe eletronic pressure switch „MagSwitch“ formany different applications. Special connectionsfor refrigeration applications are available. Quickcouplings for hoses can be delivered on request.

The electrical connection is made through a4-pin round connector (M 12x1) or a cable outlet.

DescriptionPressure switches with NO or NC contacts are the perfectchoise if both an electrical signal at a given pressure va-lue and an analogue indication are required.

The measuring principle of the pressure switch is the sa-me as used for pressure gauges according to EN 562respectively pressure gauges for special safety accordingto EN 837-1 „S“ with an accuracy class 2.5. The excellentswitching reliability and long service life is guaranteed bya gold plated, self-cleaning magnetic snap action contact.

Model 3124, 3125 and 3126 pressure switches are parti-cularly used when economic efficiency and reliability arethe basic demands on an application.

The pressure switches can be obtained in ranges from0 . . . 10 bar up to 0 . . . 400 bar.The switching point can beset between 0 and 10% of the measuring range for NCcontacts and between 90 and 100% of the measuringrange for NO contacts.

Indicators are electronic devices designed fordigital display of sensor signals. They also supplythe sensor with the power required and, with aid ofadditional facilities such as limit contacts andanaolg output, provide information on the status ofthe process being monitored.

The indicators can be set to the desired measuringrange on site by program-control. If necessary anon-linear scaling with up to 10 scalingrespectively indicating point is provided. If requiredan offset is adjustable. Both the input signal andthe analogue output (option) are freely selectable.

The programming is carried out with the functionkeys on the front of the device. To analyse varyingmeasuring signals a peak value memory(MIN/MAX) and a filter function are available.

For data transmission to a PC a digital interfacecan be obtained. As an alternative a digital input tocontrol the unit can be provided.

The indicator posesses a two-coloured display.The desired colour for operation or alarm can beselected.

Description

The intelligent pressure transmitter ‘Digitrans’allows by its freely programmable range anoptimised adaption to the measuring task.

The good readable and high contrast displayoffers room for extra information besides thedigital value , bargraph and tendency display. Thestandard display is mounted for frontview, but itcan be easily adjusted for top view.

The menues are self-explanatory and allow tochoose the configuration parameter as userlanguage, engineering unit, zero and span,inverted output signal etc. The language can beswitched between German, English, Spanish andItalian. The hidden buttons prevent an adjustmentby mistake.

Description

Pressure sensors „Miniature“ are top of the rangepressure transducers.

Due to its miniaturized construction they are theperfect choise for extrem space-savinginstallation. Reliability, resistance to corrosionand mechanical load make them suitable for allpressure measuring tasks.

The measuring ranges, graded in accordancewith EN, range from 16 bar to the maximumpressure range of 1000 bar. The case and wettedparts comprise stainless steel and are thusresistant to chemically aggressive media. Thepressure connection and measuring element arewelded together, making the measuring systemparticularly resistant to mechanical shock orvibration.

Round connectors M12x1, DIN 43650 C plugs orcable outlets are used to pick up the electricaloutput signals.

The pressure sensors „Miniature“ meet theelectronic magnetic compatibility (EMC)requirements to EN 61326.

Description:

The pressure sensors model 3374 are especiallydesigned for the needs in the field of mobilehydraulics. The sensor element is placed in thepressure connection in order to be protectedagainst damage. In case of a damage of thepressure sensor can not loose oil.

Measuring ranges from 60 bar up to 600 bar,graded in accordance with EN, cover the wholerange of hydraulic applications. The measuringelement guarantees a high long-term stabilityeven in applications with frequent changes inload.

The pressure sensor is designed to withstandshock loads up to 1000g and vibrations up to 50gaccording to DIN IEC 770.

Even extreme thermal shocks have no influenceon the operational safety. Apart from thestandard electrical connections a cable outlet IP69 K is available for applications demandingsteam jet protection.

The pressure sensors meet the electromagneticcompatibility (EMC) to EN 50081-1, EN 50081-2and EN 50082-2.

Description

Pressure sensors for highest pressures are top ofthe range pressure transducers.

Due to the flexible construction of both the electricaland the mechanical connections the pressure sensormodel 3399 is the perfect choice in the field ofhighest pressure measurement. Reliability, safety,resistance to corrosion and high mechanical loadmake them suitable for all highest pressuremeasuring tasks.

The measuring ranges range from 0...2500 bar tothe maximum pressure range of 0...8000 bar. Thecase and wetted parts comprise stainless steel andare thus resistant to chemically aggressive media.The pressure connection and measuring elementare uptightened via a metall cone. Therefore thereis no risk of leakage in the welding seams.

A relief bore ensures a defined escape for the mediain direction of the pressure connection in case of adamage.
