1. Internetul este un mediu de masa in mediul urban, structura
utlizatorilor de internet fiind similara cu cea a populatiei.
2. In mediul rural, penetrarea inernetului se apropie de 60%,
nivelul dezvoltarii utilizarii si profilul utilizatorilor fiind similare
celor din mediul urban din anii 2007-2008. Profilul este
dominat de persoanele tinere, din ruralul peste 4.000 locuitori.
4. 73% din oameni au posibilitatea de a se conecta la internet de
acasa, in rural cifra se ridica la 62%.

7. Internetul intrece televiziunea dupa numarul de ore
“constiente” petrecute utilizand acest mediu. In mediul rural
timpul mediu zilnic petrecut cu fiecare din aceste medii este
mai mare decat cel pentru urban.

8. In medie o persoana utilizeaza internetul pe 1.6 dispozitive.
9. Oamenii acceseaza in general internetul pentru a comunica si
pentru a se informa. Daca in mediul urban utilizarea
internetului are ca scop economisirea timpului si accesul facil
la anumite servicii, in zona rurala el este inca exploatat mai
mult in zona de divertisment.
10. Mediul rural este in prezent la un nivel de dezvoltare similar
mediului urban din anii 2007 – 2008, atat sub aspectul utilizarii
internetului, cat si a puterii de cumparare.
