下颌髁球的红色中心点对应下颌关节的铰链轴旋转中心,即通常所说的“铰链轴”。

The red dot in the center of the lower member condylar element corresponds to a hinging axis rotation center of the mandibular condyles. Also known as "Hinge Axis“.

The upper anterior incisal table surface along with the posterior condylar element centers of rotation are on the same horizontal plane.

下部的切导针与上部的切导盘接触,用于模拟患者上下颌牙的切导关系。这是正确的模拟方式。

The lower incisal pin in contact with the upper incisal guidance table is used to simulate the relationship of upper and lower incisal edges of the patient's teeth. Thus promoting normal functional patterns.

The Upper Member of the articulator consists of Condylar Housings posteriorly and Upper Incisal Guidance Table anteriorly. Together, they simulate the TMJ and upper anterior teeth guidance.

The moving Lower member of the articulator with Condylar Elements posteriorly and the Incisal Pin anteriorly, together, they simulate the mandibular condylar movement and lower anterior teeth guidance.

This, therefore, provides for a very logical and natural laboratory simulation of the patient movements which are very easy to understand and reproduce.

ARCON 颌架 ARCON Articulator

SAM 3和SAM所有其它型号的颌架都是解剖式(ARCON)结构。下颌体的髁球在上颌体的关节盒内运动,从而真正地模拟患者颞下颌关节运动。这种对自然解剖运动的模拟合乎逻辑并容易理解。

The SAM® NEO and all articulators made by SAM® are ARCON Instruments. To simulate the patient's authentic TMJ move-ments, the lower articulator member condylar ball moves in the upper member condylar housing and this movement corresponds to the TMJ anatomical model. This natural anatomical movement is logically simulated and understandable.

All current articulators and instruments made by SAM® are based on the height „P“ (prosthetic height = 121 mm between upper and lower members). The intercondylar distance is 110 mm. A particular feature of the system is the SAM® 15 mm distal offset arrangement of the mounting plates in the articulator. This creates a more normal patient simulation of mounted models in the SAM® articulator.

The SAM® NEO is a patient simulator which allows the end-user to reproduce anatomic patient mandibular movements for examination, diagnosis, and therapy.

颌架轴眶平面(Frankfort水平面)和颌架水平面与桌面平行。颌架上有充足的空间安装与患者颅骨解剖相关的正中关系模型,适合各种模型,包括分模模型。

The articulator axis orbital (Frankfort Horizontal) plane and all horizontal planes of the articulator are parallel with the table top. Centric relation mounted casts are anatomically related to the patient’s cranium with enough space for all types of casts, including those with split casts.

The SAM® NEO articulator has the same functional dimensions as all other SAM® articulators (Arcon principle).

Small kits are delivered in a translucent carrying case, single articulators and batches of 10 are in the special transport cartons.

In addition, articulator mounted casts can be transported in the carrying cases along with the articulators.

It is recommended that all SAM® instrumentation, parts, etc. should be placed in the designated areas in the foam to ensure safe transport and dust-free storage.

小套装配备透明颌架箱,单个颌架和10个一批的颌架使用特殊的运输箱包装。

此外,已安装好的模型也可以随颌架放置在颌架箱里。为了保护颌架和防尘存储,建议所有的SAM仪器、零件等都放在颌架箱对应的泡沫区域内。

When the locking screw is open, the pressure spring simulates the muscular strength of the patient's jaw. The spring resistance repeatedly moves the condyle ball into the centric position.

Bennett 运动是髁突趋中运动侧(平衡,非工作侧)向下、向内、向前运动或向下、向前、向内运动,所有这些运动同时进行。而髁突在侧方运动侧(工作侧,旋转)几乎直线侧移大约0.3mm。The Bennett movement is a downward, inward, forward movement or downwards, forward, inward movement all at the same time of the condyle on the mediotrusion (bal-ancing, non-working) side while the laterotrusion (working, rotating) side moves virtually straight lateral for about 0.3 mm.

Average Condylar Pathway Inclination is 35°. The average value relates skull to the Frankfort Horizontal Plane (Axis Orbital Plane). With Complete Dentures an average value of 20° is recommended.

松开颌架上颌体后部的螺丝,可以调节前伸髁导斜度。Setting the Condylar Pathway Inclination. The adjustment of the inclination is performed by loosening the posterior Thumb screw on the rear of the upper member of the articulator.

Cranium-related mounted models in the articulator are an essential part of diagnosis and therapy. The correct position of the maxillary model to the reference plane is an absolute prerequisite for model mounting with a centric registration, but also for setting condylar pathways and even when using mean values.

The Frankfort Horizontal (FH) Plane represents a reference plane for the patient and the articulator. The reference points of the Frankfort horizontal (Porion and orbitale) are identical to the axis-orbital plane (AOE).

The scissors mechanism of the SAM ® anatomic facebow creates and allow for an optimal positioning of the transfer fork (from a functional and aesthetic point of view).

The transfer stand SE is used for an easy and fast maxilla mounting in all SAM® articulators and laboratory cast mounting instruments. After the transfer the anatomic facebow can remain in the treatment room, only the transferfork assembly is needed for the model transfer. All versions of the SAM® transfer fork assemblies are compatible with the transfer stand SE . With the transfer stand the upper jaw position of the patient can be quickly and precisely transferred to the articulator.

The Bonwill triangle is understood to mean an imaginary triangle in the dentistry, the vertices of which form the lower incisor point (point of contact of the lower central incisors - 24 and 25 in America) and the centers of the two mandibular condyles. This triangle is normally equilateral and its side length is about 110 mm.
