Basic Guideline in Film, making the 2 characters or other elements in the same scene

Should have the same left/right relationship to each other.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HdyyuqmCW14

By keeping the same left/right relationship to each other, by not passing the passes over the imaginary axis connecting the two subjects.

Its not crossing the imaginary line

A match on action is when some action is happening before the temporally questionable cut is picked up where the cut left it by the shot immediately following.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JR3LXTIKfTM

We will consider Match on action on our preliminary by filming the actor feet and body while working in to have a conversation with the second person that is ready siting down.

Close up shot , opening the book

Mid shot then zoom out, to show everything that is happening

Visual

What is it used for and why?

Establishing shots may use famous landmarks to indicate the city where the action is taking place or has moved to …

A certain feature, such as someone's head, takes up the whole frame. Close-ups are often used as cutaways from a more distant shot to show detail, such as characters' emotions.

The shot is so tight that only a detail of the subject, such as someone's eyes, can be seen.

To shows two people in one shot

very common when two characters are having a discussion and will usually follow an establishing shot which helps the audience place the characters in their setting.

STUDENT Enters the door and goes to sit down very quick. TEACHER Why are you always late?  Look, here I have your grades. And it is not good at all. Why is this happening? Do you face any difficulties?  STUDENT  No miss, is just because I had some family problems at home, and that did not give me time to focus. But now the problem is fixed and I promise I will try to do much better than before.  TEACHER I understand, if there is anything I could help you with, then let me know, and if you need any help with work you know where to go.
