Writing TASK 1 – Martin Luther King envisioned a world where people of all backgrounds and colours of skin could love and respect one another. This was his dream. What is your dream for the future? Write a speech of your dreams for the future. Extension: once you have written it, can you practice reading this aloud and record it?

Punctuation - I am asking you all to try to include some punctuation for parenthesis (brackets, dashes and commas) in your written speech.

Remember to edit and improve your work once you have finished.

You can write these in your writing book from your home learning pack or using the assignments set on Google Classroom. If you do them on Google Classroom, and submit (‘hand it in’) them by Friday, I will read them and make some comments. I can’t wait to read your dream work and your poems. I am also hoping some of you upload or email me your recorded speech.
