Captain Badge Assembly
There will be a special assembly on the 24th March at 2.45pm as we hand out the badges to all the new leaders of Roberts McCubbin. This is a wonderful
opportunity for the whole school community to rally behind our new ECO and Specialist Captains and the Junior School Councilors. We look forward to seeing
you at this event.
Personalised photo envelopes have already gone home. Orders can be placed online, each envelope is now
personalised with student name and unique ordering code. If your child hands in the envelope, correct money is
required as NO CHANGE WILL BE GIVEN. Each child needs his/her own envelope if ordering. Credit card orders
are now strictly online.
If you would like a family photo taken, please collect a form from the office.
If you have elected to pay the 2017 Parent Fees and Contributions by instalments, please note that the 2nd instalment is due on 20th March. Please make sure you have sufficient credit for the payment to be processed. If your card details have changed since you set up the payment plan, you need to contact the office before the 20th March, so your card details can be updated.

done on 3rd place to our girl’s relay team - Matilda W, Mihaylia R, Scarlett P and Bec H.

From the President
Hello everyone. The PFA AGM last Thursday was well attended….. by the committee! Even the offer of a
cheese tasting was not enough to entice any other parents/carers out. It is not usually a very exciting
process. The committee are not particularly excited by it either, but there you go. So the current committee
have been officially re-nominated, re-seconded and are willing to continue in their roles. Thank-you very
much to Arash P. (Vice-President), Ellen S. (Secretary), Jo T. (Treasurer) and Matoula R. (Marketing). Special
thanks also to Marg Pickburn, our principal, for taking the time to attend this meeting and make it all official.
Well, we know that everyone is very caught up in organising the School Fair at the moment. All the PFA
committee members are doing their bit for the fair too and are preparing gourmet goodies and seeking
donations and have significant roles on the day, but PFA is not organising the fair. There is a separate,
dedicated Fair Committee, headed by the amazing Britta. People keep asking me how things are going
with the fair. Please don’t give me credit for running the fair! After the fair, next term some time, the PFA will
be looking for volunteers for some of their events. Hopefully we will all have recovered from the fair by then,
but I am looking forward to it. It is a great fun day for all.
Have a great week!
New PFA president – Robin Fripp.
PFA Morning Tea and Meeting – all welcome!
After the fair (I keep saying this for anything I’m asked to do at the moment)
