Principal’s Message

Assalamu Alaikum

Welcome to May— and to Ramadan! We all look forward to an in-

teresting and sometimes challenging learning environment over

the next few weeks. There is so much going on these days as we

wind down to the end of the school year.

A big congratulations to the winners of the Quran Competition

which is one of our highlights of the year, it would not be possible

without Sr Adla and our Core Islamic teachers and we appreciate

their many long hours of preparation.

Things to note on the calendar are the school closures on Friday

May 17th for a teacher Professional Development day and the fol-

lowing Monday which is a national holiday. PE classes will be less

physical and field trips will be more curtailed during Ramadan.

On a more personal matter, family events in the Philippines may

require that I return there almost immediately . Br. Chun will be

again in an Acting Principal role during my absence.

To all our students as the month of Ramadan starts, talk re-

spectfully, treat others kindly, walk humbly and pray sincerely.

May Allah bless you and your family. Ameen

To our amazing PAC,

JazakAllah for the Pancake breakfast you

served on April 26, 2019, the hot lunch on the

Is it ok to post school events on social media sites?

While pride in our school and students is important, post-ing school events on social media is not appropriate, and it requires the principal’s approval. JazakAllah Khairan
