Principal’s Message Recently the school participated in a student attendance audit by the Home School Liaison Officer. As part of this attendance monitoring procedure, the school is required to remind all families that the Education Act (1990) requires parents to ensure that children of compulsory school age attend school each day that the school is open for instruction. If children are absent from school, parents/carers are required to provide the school with an acceptable explanation within seven days of the absence. If your child is too sick for school please contact the school written note as soon as possible. This also includes ensuring appointments are made out of school time where possible. It is important to encourage good attendance as this has a positive effect on learning. Term 3 – Week 6 29 August 2019

Principal’s Message

Fathers’ Day Stall

Thank you to Michelle, Natalie and Bronwyn for organising the Fathers’ Day stall on Tuesday. The

stall was well supported by the students.

Change of staff

From Monday, 9 September, I will be on leave for the remainder of the term. Mr Nind will be taking

the 5/6 class.

Zone Athletics Carnival

Congratulations to the students who attended the Zone Athletics at Riverview Park last Thursday as

part of the Tregeagle District team. Thank you to Mr Johnson in attending.

Computer desks

Thank you to Pat Gillett and ‘VivCourt’ in donating the

computer desks for the 5/6 classroom. The desks have been

valuable in providing a work place for the students.
