Easy to Optimize
Appointed Color: The appointed color effect changes the original image to grayscale except for the appointed color. This effect can be used to emphasize an
appointed color area. When you select colors from <1-Color>, the non selected colors will be changed to black and white in printouts.
You can also select a color from <Target Color> if necessary. The selected original colors will be changed to the selected color from
<Target Color> in printouts.
12
Easy to Optimize
Color Removal: The Color Removal effect removes the appointed colors from the original image. This option can be used to emphasize the remaining color’s area.
This option can save toner, especially when you print images that have dark colored backgrounds. When the Color Removal setting is selected,
you can select any colors out of Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Red, Green, Blue, or Gray.
13
Easy to OptimizeColor Replacement: Select this setting to print the copy for replacing original colors with other colors. With an elaborate hue coversion technique, the replaced
color tone naturally goes well with the surrounding area’s color. When the Color Replacement setting is selected, you can replace
Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Red, Green, or Blue using by selecting the color you want to replace it with from the list.
14
Easy to OptimizeAdd Background Color: Select this setting to print the copy with a background color added to blank areas,. When the Add Background Color setting is selected, you can
select Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Red, Green, Blue, Deep Cyan, Deep Magenta, Deep Yellow, Deep Red, Deep Green, or Deep Blue.
15
Easy to OptimizeUCR: This option allows you to adjust the color of cyan, magenta, yellow, or black in dark area. For example, some black colors include cyan, magenta,
yellow, so the level of black or CMY can be adjusted for such text and images in black. This effect can enhance the readability and reduce toner usage.
16
Easy to Optimize
Fine Density: The Fine Density effect increases or decreases the image density on relatively bright or dark areas of an image. By regulating the amount of
CMYK toner, you can use this option to emphasize the area of an image, or you can improve the image quality. You can also enhance
text readability by using this option.
