I am a former Miss Winston Cup/NASCAR ‘98, and I created products for myself due to a breast cancer diagnosis in January 2005 right after giving birth to my daughter. I am a young survivor who due to treatment had major hair and skin/scarring issues. I was profoundly discouraged to find that there weren’t 100% natural products out there that

included all of the ingredients I needed to get my pretty hair and skin back. I received some products from a friend but was scared to use them because of the questionable ingredients and known carcinogens. Strangely enough, many of the products geared toward the cancer patient had chemicals, and after a cancer diagnosis, no one wants to put chemicals on the skin which can reach the bloodstream.

That’s when I decided to help myself After much trial and error I made my own leave-in hair and scalp revival serum and repair and renew skin treament cream. After about six months my husband mentioned that my hair and skin were looking really good, and I sincerely wanted the rest of the world to benefit from these products

so 1 started my own company Pristine Beauty, Inc. I researched manufacturers that only produced Natural products and worked diligently with their chemists to refine the products and make them safe and effective. I chose YSC because at no time is a cancer diagnosis welcome, but when you are young and feeling invincible, you’re blindsided. My company will also be donating to the Cancer Prevention Coalition founded by Dr. Samuel S. Epstein. The CPC’s main goal is to make people more aware of potential carcinogens in cosmetics and personal care products. Our goal is to give to these worthwhile charities while producing products we believe are a safer choice.
