the instinct dCt is hot out of the heads of our engineers and pro team; a gold star addition to Head’s table of sticks, incorporating the fresh-est tech. this includes Head’s take on combined camber, dCt, from which a rider can muster the response and precision of camber and the smoothness of flat camber; and Framewall - the world’s first 3d sidewall – which improves the torsional performance of a board as well as delivering supreme power distribution to the board’s edges. Add to this kers chips, for the harvesting and redistribution of kinetic energy, power shovel tip and tail, 40mm Basalt stringers on top and base for smooth pop and a slim waist for improved torsional perfor-mance and you have a high-end slayer of the whole mountain.

the Frame Wall is the latest innovation resulting from the HeAd intelligence loop. making the product better, HeAd’s en-gineers and pro riders were seeking for a solution to address

the issue of unbalanced distribution of edge pressure.

Comparing to traditional sidewall constructions, the unique FRAme-WALL evenly distributes applied edge pressure from tip to tail, while eliminating pressure peaks under-neath the binding areas. Better power distribution along the edges results in more balanced turns and improved edge grip without needing to invest higher efforts into riding.

While sidewalls are covered and therefore stiffened by different kind of laminates top and bottom, our all new FRAmeWALL is wider and only partly overlapping with the top layers of the board con-struction. Hence, the FRAmeWALL’s exposed top edges can flex more freely to the upside with the effect that disturbing vibrations and micro-shocks get filtered and leveled out.

the PeAk FeLLOW is the ideal accessory for backcountry use. in addition to storage space for avalanche emergency equipment, including a shovel, a probe and a first-aid kit, the packsack’s ABS® compatibility offers yet more safety on insecure terrain. the ABS® system is a tÜV-approved airbag system that can save you from being buried in an ava-lanche. Pull the handle and the ABS® twin bags are pyrotechnically and pneumatically activated, inflating to full size in a split second. the inflated ABS® twin bags provide additional dynamic lift in a flowing avalanche, and help skiers and snowboarders to stay on top of the avalanche. the separately available ABS® VARiO BASe uNit can be zipped onto the HeAd PeAk FeLLOW packsack in just a few steps.

the removable back protector built into the PeAk FeLLOW’s carrying compartment is Ce eN 1621-2 certified and offers additional impact protection. On the outside of the back-pack there are attachments for poles, an ice axe and a helmet. the main compartment provides enough space for anything you can’t do without for a long day on the slopes, and closes tight with the help of the water-repellent Ykk zipper. the dCt shape is a evolution of our classic CAmBA shape. the dCt shape has Camba under the bind-ings and a flat part between the bindings combined with a more narrow waist and a more aggressive sidecut in this area for sharpe turns and quicker initiation of rotation during the take off on big kick-ers. the pop loaded camber starts just inside of the binding area and goes all the way to the conact points in tip & tail.

in effect allowing the binding to float on a cush-ioned eVA buffer, our all-new dampiflex system is the kind of technical innovation that defines Head Snowboards. it gives extra dampening for taking the sting out of landings and reducing chatter at speed, and importantly allows the board to flex more naturally to improve precision and control on every type of camber. the result? Finally, you can unleash your board’s true potential.

Our asymmetrical strap provides more lateral sup-port in areas where needed, while the medial side of the strap allows more flexibility for greater per-formance. Stiffer padding on the lateral side gives a strong support and offers a direct input into the equipment in conjunction with some softer padding on the medial side.

Camba is Head’s traditional camber profile. the board is convex from the tip and tail contact points to an apex in the center of the board, which delivers optimum power transfer for pop and intense manouverability and grip.

these boards have a slightly shorter tail but it will give you the ability to crank those turns even better or per-form better in the Pipe. Worried about riding switch? You will not notice it, it will feel like a twin!

Our FPt (Foot Power transmission) insole is put together using 3 different densities for maximum performance: 1) A stiffer material that surrounds your heel for that locked-in heel grip feel. 2) A shock absorbing pad un-der the heel where you need it most to soak up heavy landings and to keep your feet relaxed on hard packed days. 3) A softer forefoot construction giving additional comfort and keeping your hard working toes warm all day long.

We removed the lower lacing (not need-ed because of iPS and Hybrid lacing on the shell) to eliminate pressure points and allow easier entry. these are heat moldable, with a natural antimicrobial Bamboo charcoal lining and there’s a 3d molded insole with a solid heelcup to prevent heel movement and give proper arch support. Women also ben-efit from a lower heelside collar to ac-commdate women’s calves, soft ankle pads and a warm lining mesh.

Because a woman’s foot is different than a guys, the thermofit Hybrid W Liner is designed specifically just for the girls but with all the same great features as the unisex brother.

Our most advanced liner. the lower section has a Velcro strap to custom-ize the width and a Power transmission Pocket holds your toes down securely on heelside turns. Bamboo charcoal lining is natural and antimicrobial and the breathable foam used helps wick mois-ture away from your foot. A Collar Velcro strap allows you to crank it tight for di-rect power transmission and the triple density insole has a strong heelcup, significant arch support and a shock pad in the heel. Heat moldable too.

Our liner for women still learning to ride, the Autofit W is pre-molded and has a lower collar to fit a woman’s calf precisely.

Like the men’s version, they come with easy sliding metal loops for a conve-nient entry and exit. these are custom heat moldable, and come with a 3d molded insole and have a lower heel-side collar to accommodate women’s calves.

Fine-tune the liner’s toebox volume by adding/removing eVA pads to the Power transmission Pocket. it provides great support for the toes when doing heelside turns.

to tighten, just pull the inner liner lace with just one hand... and it locks itself! to release, simply pull the tongue loop forward. it doesn’t get much easier than this.

Our breathable liner foam allow air circulation in the lin-ers, sweat can diffuse out of the liner for a dry and cozy feeling of your feet.

Hybrid Lacing is a combination of a lace secured with the easylock on the lower section and a Velcro collar strap on the liner’s cuff. individually adjust the liner’s sectiona with precision according to your needs.

Hollow fibers store the heat and provide it back to the foot when it is getting colder.

A velcro strap around the toebox allows you to adjust its width to avoid slipping in the boot if you have a nar-row foot. Pull out the liner, tighten the strap according to your needs and step into the boot again. You will feel the difference.

A foot is thinner on the lateral toe side than on the me-dial side. this is why our liners come with an asymmetric toe shape – for the perfect anatomic fit.

the SSL ii System (Single SpeedLock) comes with a su-per precise lace lock mechanism that’s designed to be the fastest, smoothest and most efficient speed lacing system on the market. Simply pull the single lace grip tight, push the lever on the tongue down to lock your lace in place. And that’s it – Go shred!

LACe uP: Push the knob in and turn for an effortless tightening and a comfortable fit. uNLACe: Just pull knob to pop and unlock. the dynamic Closure system is a replaceable miniature high tensile stainless steel cable that runs through the lace guides with minimal friction for perfect pressure distribution and a micro-adjusting fit.

this is the fastest, most comfortable way to lace a BOA boot. the advantage of the Coiler is the integrated auto-tightening of the tension cable – it’s quick in and quick-er out. You immediately have more comfort and control, which translates to higher performance.

Our instep Pad Strap (iPS) gives supreme heel hold and eliminates the need for laces on the lower liner to give easier entry and exit and improved comfort. the padded strap sits over the ankle and pulls the heel further into the heel pocket, and also distributes pressure from the ankle strap more evenly over the top of the foot making comfort on another level.

A unique, centrally located cable routing system for the BOA boot that allows evenly distributed tightening to both the upper and lower sections of your boot. this powerful system greatly improves the fit over the entire foot and specifically locks in your heel due to the cen-trally located cable guide design over the ankle.

Head’s premium sole has the skate-inspired Vulcanized look with visible eVA cushioning throughout for the best im-pact absorption in the line. the material is tough as hell and the pretzel-shaped tread not only reflects our German roots, they offer great grip for hiking.

Christophe is a leading player in the German snowboard scene, whose talents span both competition and film scenes. Ai’s preferred terrain is powder and backcountry, which is pretty lucky considering she hails from Japan, home of the mythical steep and deeps. Her board of choice is the She´s Good Flocka, which she complements with Nx Fay Five dF bindings and Jinx d-Boa Coiler boots.

Fredrik evensen can be describe as all-round, as comfortable tearing up the streets as he is throwing roosters in the back-country or stomping doubles off booters. His preferred setup includes the evil i. Flocka, team Boa Hybrids and Nx Five dF bindings.

Shayne is a Jersey boy and earned his snowboard proficiency badge in Vermont’s school of hard knocks. He has since gone west and can be found riding the winters away in mammoth filming with the People Crew on his evil i. Flocka, team Boa Hybrid and Nx Five dF bindings.

Like Head teammates klocker, evensen and Schmidt, Alex tank lays it down for the isenseven crew and if you want proof of his technical abilities then look no further than Fool´s Gold and GiViN tOO. Alex is responsible for the design of the evil Flocka, which he complements with Nx Five dF bindings and the team Boa Hybrid boots.

if you’re a fan of isenseven, then tom klocker will be no strang-er. Hailing from Hippach, Austria he likes nothing more than banging hammers off booters in the park and backcountry but is also not adverse to a little street action. together with his tattoo artist Sandor Pongor, tom came up with the design of his chosen ride, the Force i. kers. He also rides the Nx Five dF bindings with the team Boa Hybrid boot.

Atti hails from Sweden’s snowboard incubator, umeå, and is mad keen on slopestyle. She likes to hit up jibs and kickers on her self-designed She’s Good Flocka. Atti rides the Jinx d-Boa Coiler boots and Nx Fay Five dF bindings.
