Graduate Testimonials
TOM NISBET, Project Manager
—Starting my building career as a Graduate in 2007, I have been able to excel my knowledge and passion for building through project diversification and continual personal progression of job responsibilities and roles. I am currently close to completing my fourth project with Probuild. My experience ranges from a $10 million mixed use retail and office building in Richmond to the $117 million Monash New Horizons; a research facility involving both educational and office space for Monash University and CSIRO in Clayton.
Probuild has always provided me with an opportunity to broaden my horizons through extra responsibility and internal promotion. I started as a Graduate, then Contracts Administrator; Project Coordinator, Assistant Project Manager and now Project Manager. This process has provided me with exposure to numerous aspects that make up a construction company, such as; contracts, budgets, project forecasting, construction programming, site management, subcontractor management, client management, consultant management, services management, commissioning management, design management, quality management and Green Star initiatives.
LOREDANA HIBBERD, Design Coordinator
—I joined the company as a Graduate in 2011 and was given the opportunity to experience all of the components of the Graduate Program Modules and the business.
As a graduate on site I performed the role of Services Coordinator. This role involved being responsible for the design coordination, review of shop drawings, planning and programming, site coordination, supervision and procurement. I have also been fortunate enough to be present in and chair design meetings between the client, consultants, subcontractors and the Probuild team.
During my time with the company I have worked on three different site based projects; Rhapsody, ($86 million), Tiara Apartments ($65 million) and 350 William Street ($105 million). I have also been involved with several other new business projects at head office. I have found that an integral part to all of these projects is the project teams. Each of the project teams I have been a part of have supported and guided me to excel through the graduate program and have enriched my understanding and passion for the construction industry.
Following my completion of the Graduate Program at the beginning of 2013 I have continued to work as a Project Coordinator, with a strong focus towards Design Management.

We are Bold, Open and Accountable
Our core qualities These three words are what is important to us as an organisation – they represent what we stand for.
— Bold: being adventurous, courageous, innovative, purposeful, enterprising, determined, eager and engaged
— Open: being transparent, sincere, straightforward, accessible, candid, frank, receptive and up-front
— Accountable: being answerable, trustworthy, responsible, diligent, honest, competent and obliged
Think about these words and how you see them being played out in your workplace on a daily basis. Think about how you demonstrate these qualities yourself and how you could ‘walk this talk’ during your daily activities.
