1. Reference

1.1 Operation manual of sealing oil system

2. General description and work quantity

2.1 The sealing oil system of generator is combined mainly by control devices of sealing oil, sealing oil tank at hydrogen side, control of sealing oil, Sealing oil pad and oil supply system. Oil supply system provided two number, oil sources which circulated separately to ensure that oil pressure of sealing oil is greater than specified value of air pressure inside generator, and ensure oil pressure at hydrogen side and air side inside sealing air pad are equal. The pressure deviation shall be controlled into the tolerance variety. The sealing oil shall be cooled by hot exchanger, and the quantity of heat caused by friction loss between sealing oil pad and shaft shall be removed also which will ensure the temperature of pad and temperature of oil shall be controlled into reasonable range. By using of oil filter, the debris in the oil shall be removed which will ensure the purity of oil. Through foam-remove tank of generator and return oil tank at hydrogen tank to release saturated hydrogen at sealing oil to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the unit

2.2 Pre commissioning of auxiliary equipments will be conducted by means of trial run of motor and individual test of equipment. Trial run of motor refers to after installation complete of equipment, the coupler bolt between pump (air fan) and motor shall be loosed and conduct trial run for motor only. Individual refers to integral test after coupling of motor and pump (air fan). For requirements for electrical test of motor, commissioning of instrumentation, insulation, earthing, refer to related electrical documents.

3. Preconditions

3.1 All equipments, pipeline and valves at system are installed complete and accepted. The technical records of installation are complete and signed by all relevant parts, the site environment conditions are meet the requirements

3.2 Installation of sealing pad and end plate are complete

3.3 Monitor panel of hydrogen, oil and water are put into operation

3.4 All relevant valves are checked, adjusted, tested one by one, which are all act flexibly and point to right direction. The valves are named and ready for use.

3.5 Installation of instrumentation for supervision and control at operation system are complete and accepted, and in good condition.

3.6 Oil level of oil tank is a little bit greater than normal value.

4. Procedure

4.1 Ensure oil level of vacuum oil tank of sealing oil is normal, and the system is ready to operate.

4.2 Start No.1 sealing oil pump at air side, ensure the sealing oil pressure and system are operate at good condition.

4.3 Start No.1 sealing pump at hydrogen side, en sure the sealing oil pressure and system are at good condition.

4.4 Start No.1 Exhaust Fan, ensure air pressure of fan and system are operated at good condition.

4.5 Bypass the sealing pad following the system chart, the temporary short pipe should be used to connect the inlet and outlet oil pipe of the sealing pad.

4.6 After normal operation of sealing oil system, all the equipments of system and pipeline shall be checked thoroughly and ensure there is o any leakage and make a record of following data, sealing oil pressure of two ends of shaft, outlet pressure of oil pump, temperature of sealing oil, pressure differential of oil and hydrogen, pressure differential of oil filter, oil level of vacuum tank, vacuum data, etc.

4.7 Start No.2 sealing oil pump at air and hydrogen side and exhaust fan at hydrogen isolation device, and checked the work condition of system.

4.8 During pre-commissioning of sealing oil system, after adjust rotate speed of DC motor to 1450RPM and confirm the outlet pressure, the emergency sealing oil pump also shall be tested up to 8 hours.

5. Requirements during run of sealing oil pump

5.1 Check if the non-return valve at outlet valve of pump is opened or not

5.2 Check if the outlet pressure of pump (air fan) is meet the requirement the temperature of shaft bearing is not greater than 80ºC

5.3 Shaft vibration of pump (air fan) is not greater than 0.05mm

5.4 No noise during running of pump, fasteners at all parts are not loose

5.5 Safe protection running are in good condition

6. Safe, health and environment precautions

6.1 Prepare enough safety helmets at work site, and all the commissioning personnel are requested to wear helmets.

6.2 Pay attentions to caution notice at work enter into construction site, it is forbidden to enter the work site and approach which are not safe or which is not have enough illumination.

6.3 Check and ensure there is good earthing for electrical equipments.

6.4 Sufficient quantities of fire extinguishers shall be prepared at oil system operation area.

6.5 All the commissioning personnel shall follow relevant safe construction regulations to ensure the safe and reliable proceeding of commissioning

6.6 If there is potential or actual damage of equipments and injury/ loss of personnel is happened during commissioning process, the commissioning work shall be stopped immediately, analysis the reasons and make out the remedial measures.

6.7 Pay attentions to outlet pressure, current, vibration during and the operation parameter are exceeder than the normal one during commissioning process, the pump shall be stopped immediately, analysis the reasons and , make out the remedial measures.
