The Process Engineer is part of the Operation Support team in the EMEA region based in Venray.

The Process Engineer is responsible for initiating projects to improve logistic processes within EMEA in terms of productivity, quality and efficiency.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Lead or participate projects within Venray DC and in the EMEA region. The projects to lead are projects improving logistics processes;

• Develop maintain and share expertise on logistical technology and concepts. Monitor new developments and translate into new opportunities for Venray Operations. Bring in innovative ideas;

• On request being the interface between Operations and IS for all programs used within Venray logistic Operations (Oracle, Oracle WMS, KNAPP PTL (kisoft), Cirris, ScanCode);

• Maintain and share expertise on Oracle WMS, Access, local databases and its interfaces to ensure and continuously improve effective data collection;

• Support (OPS) departments in case of major system breakdown, major reprofiling of pickline and complex data requirement.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor degree with several years of experience in Warehousing/Logistics;

• Proven experience in project management; • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English; • Strong customer and results orientated attitude; • Excellent organizational and problem solving skills with the ability

to changing priorities; • Experience with automated logistics systems (preferably pick-to-

light), WMS (preferably Oracle WMS) and ERP software (Oracle);

• A strong IS focus should be a kind of second nature; • Ability to travel.
