• Optical 3D inspection system • Dimensional Metrology contact o contactless:

– Coordinates Measuring machine.

– Articulated laser arm – Structured white light 3D

scanner (reverse engineering)

• CEM Laboratory • Support to the maintenance: High speed and thermograpy cameras.

Inspection processes

• Advanced machining: – CAD/CAM – Simultaneous 7-axis Robot machining – 5 axis A.V.

• Microtechnologies: – Micromachining of geometrically

complex parts in all kind of materials with an absolute precision. (tolerance±2 µm)

– Microinjection in a large range of plastics, colouring, and even with glass fibre, talcum, graphite or natural fibre contents. (Vol max 1,1 cm3)

• Additive manufacturing in metal, plastics, etc. from a 3D model without the need for moulds or tooling of any kind by means of the depositing of layers of powdered material

• Incremental sheet metal forming

Manufacturing technologies

• Systematization of the industrial design process • Design and development of products with more added value: sustainability, easy manufacturing and assembly… • Supporting technologies to the product design: 3D CAD, rapid manufacturing, reverse engineering, 3D Scan, pre-series manufacturing...

Product design

• Improvement of the productive process: LEAN MANUFACTURING – Definition of the initial

situation (GAP, VSM) – Identify the objetives. – Proposition of solutions.

• Plant reengineering: leading to the solving of problems

related to flows, handling, optimization of space, storage, ergonomics, safety, etc.

• Process simulation: analysis of a

lay-out, work cell • Work-station reengineering
